nice quality! I feel because the 78rpm travels at a faster rate than 45rpm = higher quality - you can really hear the high frequencies on this 78 version, very good!
Hi boy. Got one of her songs on 78. Called "You were only fooling, while I was falIing in love." I'm even able to play it, and I'm proud of it. Got a lot of 45's as well, like "Playing games-I was such a fool" Malaguenia-Spanish nights and you" and, on CD: What we loved much in Europe "Du muss bleiben, Angelino", "Hast du Heimweh" " Eine Insel fuer zwei"! I could go on. We loved it. Love to hear those songs still.
Thanks for posting this! One of my favorite ballads by Connie was "Carolina Moon", which is the flip side of "Stupid Cupid" (at least on 45). Could you post it if possible? I would love to see it spin at 78!! Thanks again!
it does...i always thought that about 78's ...i tried imagining a dj setup in the 30s and 40s with a primitive sound mixer to allow the dj to continously keep the music going..even beat mixing big band/jazz/swing...i'm weird..i guess
