  • His clean is better then some, however the first pull wasn't great (it's not a deadlift), there was no transition or double knee bend, the arms broke to early, poor weight placement over feet through-out (shown from shoulder positions over bar), catch position is risky, and lacking of any real hip snap or power!

The weight is to light for this guy to clean, he is pulling most of it with his arms, then pressing it up.

  • @lukealandrummond "core" exercises as in those of most importance, weightlifting exercises, squat variants etc... not mid-section exercises. Though saying that I know some PT's who don't much about them either.

  • i have his autograph :)

  • Good video except for two things...

    1. Core exercises are best done first as they require most coc-ordination, effort and technique. Doing them lasyt can result in poor form and therefore injury.

    2. As a reputable nutrition marketing company, that has to be one of the worst clean and jerks I have ever seen. Sorry, but you would never pass a weightlifting or S&C exam doing it like that!

  • Clean and press is a good exercise. Surprise you didn't start with that one first, as it's the hardest.

  • Lol at the pose :-)

  • @hairy0pothead

And he was completely straight-faced too AHAHA

  • not everyone has a "jammer" at their gym

  • @utuberlol Use a barbel pressed into a corner with weight on the other end.... i find it better than a jammer as you use more of you supporting muscles to stabalise the movement.
