Hey this is better than the dub; like everyone says. :D

The the lyrics somewhat syncs with Haruhi's "lip flaps"; and the the audio fits the bill 'cause, well yeah, like the uploader says: the event is held in an auditorium so the music should sound like it is in one. The original English dub didn't consider the place where the song is sung... gah! can spill out the right words.. xp

@Haquize Ah, I see. Well, the lyrics in the song aren't even hers; she just sang them. The video description gives some details about that. Either this version came out before the dub, or the maker of the lyrics didn't like the lyrics Lee sang and rewrote them.

The official dub was going for sounding okay in lyrics and keeping the general point rrather than being exact.
