  • this guy's voice over is so annoying

  • Wow! this is amazing.. his paintings are so beautiful. I myself and blind and this is courageous!

  • Amazing!!!

  • I hope he uses non toxic paints tho :X

  • Awesome video, sadly some people in this world are stupid enough to "dislike" this video... I mean, whats in it to disagree with ?

  • This makes me embarrassed ... I can see, and write this comment, but yet I can't paint half as well as he can

  • This is amazing !!

  • @paintKyZR yes , he is. why is that funny?

  • you inspire so many people. you insprired me ! my brothers blind, 7 years old. and i bet he'd be inspired to ! keep it up ;D thumbs up if you agree this is amazing !

  • @britttb4646 haha, your brother is disabled!

  • @PaintKyZR not funny faggot

  • wow so amazing

  • Great Painter! You are an inspiration to us all.

  • Sad that other blind people can't see this...

  • Team Bramblitt

  • Keep painting! You're great!

  • If he hadn't lost his sight, he wouldn't have started painting. That's amazingly ironic but awesome :D

  • damn it hes blind and hes still a better painter than me.

  • Any more lame news-reader puns coming?

  • What I think is amazing, is that I can't understand the point of painting when you're blind, because you can't appreciate it in the only way I know how. With my eyes. To me, It'l like writing music if you're deaf. What's the point. But this says to me, STFU HARRY! ALL YOU NEED IS PASSION YOU ASSHOLE! I hope it's a good thing though.

  • @HarryIsTheGamingGeek Exactly. He is an example of how there is more to visual art than what can be seen. He understands what he is drawing; otherwise there's no way he could draw it. (And that's why most folk cannot draw.) That implies that there is some way for him to appreciate it too.

Thumbs up to your comment. ^_^

  • blind ambition... haha oh lawdy

  • so hIhi i uploaded a new pic any Guys want to chat and maybe more

  • I was feeling good about this guy until i seen the brail canvas... so basically he is just tracing with his hands.. I would like to see what he does without brail.

  • Wow.

  • It's incredible how he mixes the colours. but if i became blind i'd be painting without the guidelines.

  • My uncle has a similar situation. He is paralyzed, in a wheelchair and is unable to use his hands legs or even speak any louder than a whisper. Before his accident he was an amazing artist and all his works were the nearest to perfection it gets. Today he is still an amazing artist, he paints/draws with his mouth better than almost anyone I know. thank you for making this video it reminds me that even disadvantaged people can do great things :)

  • Wow, i can't even paint/draw that well and i have better than 20-20 vision!

  • puts everything in perspective. I don't know if I would have the strength.

  • Wow this guy is an inspiration to me. Just amazing.

  • It's amazing that here we can see the images inside a blind man's head. I'd say he is a genius artist.

  • @1:12... GO BACK!! You forgot a package! :S

  • 555 people are jealous that a blind man can paint better than them.

  • Wow, he really makes you feel like crap for taking things for granted doesn't he? Awesome individual.

  • i searched for a motherboard yesterday. now today on youtube im seeing ads for motherboards. WTF?!!!

  • @0100110101001011 yea the crazy thing is when you ask yourself a question one day in your head...you will get the answer soon. always ask and you will receive

  • You have inspired me

I just realized the most beautiful thing

A person can be physically blind, but see the world in way nobody else can.

  • 555 blind people missed the like bouton

  • Hacks! No good on him, I'm a avid reader myself, and although I can't imagine what it is like, I can understand the sense of loss I would feel. Keep it up!

  • Never say you cant do something. What an amazing man.

  • why does this video have any dislikes?

  • @Pruane2ishot yeah who is so heartless that they dislike this video?

  • Wow..this is inspirational. The fact that he pursues his works of art that he can't even see makes me think that I can do it since I have two flipping eyes! How come the canvases looks like they have outlines on them though?

  • Wow - I feel really inadequate!

  • lot of respect John Bramblit

  • His paintings are... unexceptional, but his ability as a blind person is remarkable.

  • damn u good

  • damn he's really good at painting

  • so he tells colors by the way they feel. wow.I love art, painting and drawing is part of my life, couldn't live with out it. I have epilepsy too. but it hasn't done anything to me. had it since I was 3, I'm actually reducingd now on my meds. which makes me happy. to think I might not have epilepsy again. who knows.:)

  • wow he's amazing I wonder how he tells the color differences.

  • @artpeacemaster he says that some colors have different textures or consistencies

  • Inspiring.

  • When life throws you a curve ball just stick your finger at fate and say "Up yours!"

  • Like, even though your eyesight is hosed, you're awesome. Most folks couldn't paint even half that well without their eyesight being hosed. Way to go, babe!

  • FOUND HIS SENSE OF... SELF.

    I just fucking rofl'd.

  • Probably not quite as amazing as it looks... at 1:46 it shows that he's just filling in paint where the lines tell him to. Almost like a coloring book.

  • @pokertaughteasy Tell you what--try painting with a blindfold. with or without any sort of guide you will show yourself why he is EXTREMELY talented.

  • @pokertaughteasy but he was the one who drew that lines =)

  • @bie5436 He may have drawn the lines but how does he know where EXACTLY if he can't see? If I drew a line blindfolded I don't think I would know EXACTLY where the line is unless I was feeling the edge of the paper and try to feel the distance the line was from the edge. Wen he drew the lines were the lines somehow bumby so he could feel the lines?

  • @bandet888 It's braille obviously

  • @bie5436 I think goodvibrato answered my question.

  • @pokertaughteasy Atleast he colours inside the lines..lol

  • please excuse me, but i dont speak english that good, and i did not understand how he gets this strings on the screen? these white track, that he touches.

  • TEXASSSS(:

  • that's really inspiring

  • @mamangakka do you mean the vid or the cussing out iCyborg85 just got?

  • @thatonechick2012 the video of course XD

  • BLIND AMBITION LOL

  • @iCyborg85 Hey bitch, listen the fuck up. You're so fucking dumb cause you can't do something like this guy can do even though he's blind, and I hope you become blind you bitch. Then see how it feels. I have never felt so mad at such a douche bag like this. I hope terrible shit happens to you faggot. So go fuck your mom. In fact, imagine you sucking your mom's old sweaty pussy and imagine fucking her and letting her suck your dick. I hope you're scarred by that image. Now go suck a dick.

  • @BadriO888 Lol at the 14 y old acting like a hard cunt.

  • Hes CHuck Norris Thumbs up if u agree

  • i thought the commentator was john madden for the first split second

  • Does he make his own brail canvases or does he buy them?

  • @lounakin He draws them with fabric paint first. Then fills in.

  • makes you reflect on your own life

  • seriously. what's up with the 500 dislikes?

  • i think its funny how you guys are commenting about him, positively or negatively, in a way that he will never see... literally

  • 554 people are mad because they can't paint.

  • Wow, and kids today sold their gay ass freaking hand paintings for $21,000? Seriously wdf?

  • wow thats amazing i can see and i cant even make a straight line!!

  • oooh...how can he have ideas for colors?? amazing

  • @jedkezzel1996 he did used to be able to see. the colors in his mind are probably more vivid in his mind's eye than they ever were when he could see

  • its so cool

  • good job i like your paintings

  • Daredevil vision!

  • epolipsy?

  • @MrChikki epilepsy is where you have seizures (basically).

  • sad.

  • dont care, his paintings kick glass

  • who put those lines there for him to feel? lol

  • EEmAzingg.yourr arT is BEAUTIFUL.

  • Painting so good, make you wanna slap yo momma.

  • sometimes i think people with normal vision are the ones who are really visually impaired...

  • @alphanumerik Youre retarded. . . If they have normal vision then how are they visually impaired. . . . .

  • @Suprisebutt6 you should actually think about what he is saying... hes not being literal dumb fuck your the retard

  • @Suprisebutt6 sorry mate, but i wouldn't expect someone named "suprisebutt6" to fully understand the point i was trying to convey

  • holy crap...and i cant even color with a crayon with my eyes open

  • his work is beautiful...

  • Imprinted lines, blind, not blind, whatever.....his work is very nice. I mean really nice. He lost his vision, it's not like he never had sight, so he has an idea of things. Imprinted lines? I wonder how many sighted people with imprinted lines can do as well, remember paint by numbers, lol, some came out a complete mess, others knew to blend and theirs looked like the box cover LOL.

  • guys this isnt fail he says how he paint's and tell witch color is witch or are yall deaf?

  • @PicklesTehClown lines aren't the things that are amazing he can tell the different colors by texture can you do that even when you have your full vison? he knows what color to paint each section and he "sees" the painting i dont really think that you could do that if you were blind he can do things that not many other people can do and that is talent so before you bash on someone less fortunate then you think about it...stupid have a nice day :)

  • @Angel6896

Well I guess its amazing there is brail on his paint tubes... but ya know your probably one of those Obama getting in office wasn't a setup type idiot too.

  • @Angel6896, I agree. But he may be more fortunate than the rest of us. To "see" as you have stated is a very deep concept. To even understand to "see" is even deeper. Few of us get it, especially us "sighted" ones. We are so dependent on our senses. Pickles has no vision. That's why he/she is TehClown.

  • FAIL!!!

  • blind for years, meaning he lost his sight, so he at one point could see

    still awesome

  • I was a bit depressed before watching this video, now I feel like I've got to do more and more, Thank you John, you are an amazing person.

  • He is not blinde,if he was how did he know where the colors were

  • @adanickad221 There's different degrees of blindness.

  • @adanickad221 you fucking moron. He explained how he tells which color is which.

  • @adanickad221 maybe he puts the colors in a specific order

its not that hard 2 figure out

  • @AngelicAcid453 or he brings braille labels to the art supply with him

  • @giantrobotbil Awe very true

  • nothing is impossible

  • I think he does see it, sort of, he sees what he wants to paint and the picture in his mind.

  • how can you dislike this?

  • I love this so much, it's proving how art can litteraly save anyone if your not a numb soul. I don't see how people could think this is fake. And the best thing is that, he just tried out of curiosity...and ended up falling in love with it! I love the whole message it sends, It really means that if your determined absolutely nothing can stop you! A deaf Musician, blind artist...so all thoes who blame there lazeyness on a disibility are doing so from shere stupidity.

  • You are an amazing human being John. I have given me a very touch story today, I wish you a very good luck moving on with your life.

  • This is a great example of a person who lives his life despite the hand he has been dealt. I have so much respect for this man, I am ashamed of how I let trivial things get in my way of doing things or ego wreck my head because of money etc. This guy is on another level.

  • whoa

  • this story is truly inspiring as a fellow artist who graduated from UNT as well. I have a hanging phobia of loosing my sight some day, but this story really gave me hope if I ever did loose my sight.

  • ok this is fake but RESPECT the real blind people... :(

  • Ok, he's blind and he can paint, but why would someone create an image that you can't see? I really don`t get it.

  • In other words, never give up on your dreams ;)

  • 1.fake how can he choose the right colours

    2. art is making the lines that are marked on the picture, painting is like a painting book for kids

  • @MrDar3k you are nothing but a TROLL you know that? if you dont know what i mean, watch a few of ray william johnson's videos, then you'll understand

  • @Patr0cur oh really? he is just painting like small kids do, whats so special about him?

  • @MrDar3k

    moron.

  • @MrDar3k well try to paint a puppy with your eyes closed, trust me, its hard, i tried it and it looked like a steam roller comming out of a kittens face, yeah...i know...its horrible lol

  • @Patr0cur did you already have the lines made ? I dont think so, if I had the lines like that so I can feel them I could paint but ofc it would be imposibble to pick the right colours, so I still believe its fake

  • @MrDar3k well believe what you want, it should be on ripleys lol

  • 551 Negative votes are not talented like this kid...Great Video

  • I'll buy one of his paintings with newspaper cut outs ...

$5,000? Sure here ya go buddy.

  • his dog is cute ^^

  • his dog is cute ^^

  • Humans are just amazing

  • truly inspirational, all the best on your journey my friend

  • SO GREAT! ANYONE CAN DO ANYTHING if the BELIEVE they can!

  • this is cool.. but i would like to see someone who was blind from birth paint...

  • @Avexar probably not gonna happen. people blind from birth don't know what colors look like. How could you describe what green looks like? It's a mix of yellow and blue...well what are yellow and blue? Sadly, someone born blind wouldn't know how to mix colors like John. Still, this feat is amazing. Seeing with his hands is a real gift

  • humi feel very adventurous today any guys want to have an adventure

  • Why don't they just tell him. You can buy a third eye, scientist found away to convert Felling in to sight baciclyusing the Tong to send signals to the brain thus making sight with a camera ether on glasses or strapped on your head

  • that depends if the nerves in the brain has been damaged or not and if he even wants hes eyesight

  • he said he has images in his had and he wants them to get out.....but how is he sure if the images in his head are out? I can tried to understand this by drawing with my finger in the water or at the wall, I coulnd't see anything but I could imagine it.

I guess he wasn't blind since birth...it would be interesting to see a blind person drawing who was blind since birth....people like that imagine the world different.

  • @calvinandhodg nonsense. He can store colors by braile in containers can't he?

  • @ericberner Ah, good point, I hadn't thought of that.

  • He is so amazing! I understand what he says about feeling the texture of the different colours, but you see him feeling the canvas too before painting. My thought... Why aren't there finger prints of paint all over the canvas? It should look really crap, but no! The lines are all sharp and clean, and the colours vivid... Awesome stuff!

  • was he artistic BEFORE blind?....curiously awesome and inspiring either way.

  • check out this video i found type on search Blind Learn To See With Tongue

  • According to tests, scientists found out that his area of sight in his brain is very active while he is painting. This is because his sense of touch is connected to his sense of sight somehow. I am not really sure

  • I wish you could see how good your painting is

  • Wow I'm deaf and I have phobia of becoming blind because I am an artist and seeing is vital, but wow after watching this video, I'm left to re-evaluate my way of thinking.

What's most stunning is that he manages to color decently well despite the fact that he is blind. :O How the heck is that tangible? haha

Very inspiring! Thank you for sharing!

  • Nothing is impossible. I admire these people. They are amazing.

  • OMG! I watched this about a year ago, thought it was cool but never gave it a 2nd thought. Recently my mom mentioned that the owner of the small company my step father works for is considering retiring in a few years. I asked if he had any children to take it over. She said he had a son, but he was blind. I asked why that would stop him & she said he was more interested in painting & was actually kind of famous for it. Immediately I remembered this & sure enough it 's the same guy. Small world!

  • He's not completely blind is he?

  • he is blind dumbasses why would he do all this if he wasnt, even if he uses the little dots its still awesome as fuck, it takes skill

  • amazing!

  • what's that braille on the canvas?? like it's already printed.. he just has to fill it in??

if thats so.. mwah.. if he sketches that up himself.. sick.. but im not convinced..

  • lol @ the background voice

  • thats amazing, i would love to learn now to do that! it would be easyer than braille!!!

  • cool

  • Amazing....

  • im not buying hes blind.

  • BLIND AS FUCK

  • Wow, that is so amazing! It's very inspiring!

  • You know, some of the most amazing people in the world are blind.

  • very true

  • unbelievable , I authenticated by checking some articles about him, but I am still unable to convince me about John.

well I don't believe in miracle, this is hard work. awesome!!!!!!!!! the best documentary i have ever watched

  • i have seen him around school but i cant say one way or a nother

  • ohhh yeahh i could do that too man fantastic im gonna try it out ;D blindfolded man! i'm gratefull not to be blind man! Respect !

  • I find it amazing, that he actually can find out, WHERE the colors go, and WHAT colors it is ._.

  • fantastic!

  • who put the lines on the canvas?

  • I thought it was odd that they didn't mention that. If he did it himself then it surely be worth mentioning right?
