Why is it that everyone who puts a lot of time into a cabinet (big or small) usually gets all chintzy with the interface?
Seriously, hack out those gpx and mame splash screens. Then modify mame source to load donkey kong directly. This should be easy with a gpx. I do it all the time w/ console ports of mame, so I can link roms directly to my dashboard.
Great job! You could make a lot of money from this sort of thing, which could go to funding other projects. I'd like to see you take the Wiz apart and build a better handheld system with the guts. Better buttons, better control pad, etc.
So very cool. I guessed it'd be a nano itx or something in there but very clever using a gp2x! How come it sound like it's running so slow though? Amazing work anyway, you should make a few more and line them up!
Yeah, I found that, but already posted. I would've tried to condense the format, doing a few-minute practice run or two, into five or six minutes. Same overall time in production, perhaps, but a smoother presentation. Another great piece of kit by you, though.
THIS IS FUCKING AMAZING. WILL YOU BE SELLING ONE OF THESE? Cause I miss playing in the arcade as a kid during the 80's and like to know is it a cell phone you're using or a lcd screen with graphics card just wondering. also YOU SHOULD BE IN THE GUINNESS BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS WORLD SMALLEST ARCADE
Awesome videos. I would like to make one of these myself. Or a different version of a retro arcade game. It would be awesome if you could post a how to video or link a description on the measurements and materials used to make one. Brilliant gadget to say the least!
Compare this to the 'mini' donkey kong video games home versions we had as kids. Basically the same size, but an lcd-etched screen with a handful of pre-etched barrel and mario positions.
This version would only be available in our wildest imaginations.
I would TOTALLY buy one of these! So cool! And a nice authentic look as well! I can imagine a bat-top would be better than a ball top for this (or at least easier to use). Love it.

@aculturemind It is quite impressive, I hope 33Bender does a part 3 explaining how he made the cab itself.
There's a thread on arcadecontrols com Project Announcements forum by him, but only a couple of extra details on it so far. :/
