that ring is fuckin badass... damn i cant wait tille my cowboys win another one, i can just imagine a saphire dallas star with other diamonds around it, or you know whatever, we are living in some new times, a regular gold with charcoal ring with 1 diamond days are over, its all about BLING!!!
i just heard superbowl rings can cost more than 5 grand. is that after taxes. and if it is thats not really expensive (although the significance is priceless). but how the hell do u make something like that for less than 5 grand and make any profit. thats like making 10 bucks per ring or soemthing if anything.
well if you think about it, its not like they're still making these rings. they only made these rings for players 1 time only once per year. so when you think about it, it balances out cuz its not like this is a ring on sale for the public. you know what i mean? and besides, these rings arnet about profit, its more so a gift for their accomplishments. like a class ring for graduates.
I have the answer 2 ur question. The NFL pays 4 a predetermined number of rings for superbowl winning team (I dont know the exact number, but it at least covers all the players and staff. Also, since the team designs their own ring which determines the price of it. The league covers $5000 of each ring. Anything over that the team covers as well as . For example, if a ring cost $9000, the team would pay $4000 to cover it. Most rings today are more than 5K. Extra rings are also covered.
Glad to help. Also, I forgot to mention that the company that does them does not look to profit. In fact, they take a loss. They agree to do them for the prestige.
wasn't privy to the 150. good stuff. But the steelers dont have cheerleaders playboy. I think we used to back in the 40's, but not since then. All our money goes toward football.

The 'new' ring sucks.
Gone are the days of having beautiful, customized rings. Football is now owned by the cookie-cutter, money first, corporations.
I bet football is also 'rigged'.
I noticed that after 9/11, the Patriots won it like 3 or 4 times, to remind us of our 'Patriotism'. Before that, the Patriots were gay.
Then Katrina happened... and guess what... New Orleans wins it.
Football is rigged.

not only that, the limit is 150, and everyone on team gets it, players, choaches, etc..fuck, i wonder is the cheer leaders get it too?

James Harrison should refuse the ring because if the Cardinals had won the superbowl they would've gotten the rings!
