I thought I was hunting the right land but I ended up too far and the person who actually owned the property came up and was quite a chuckoo. He actually called the Sheriff and the Sheriff was a really nice guy who was trying to cool him down and he understood that I made a mistake and he gave a warning. Now that is a perfect officer. But not this one.

here in South Dakota you can legally shoot turkeys in the road right of way, or just about anywhere else just as long as you are 200 yards or more from an occupied dwelling. If it isn't occupied at the time doesn't matter. Of course you can't trepass.

Most cops are just smart a**es. They are usually judge and jury. Judges always take their word. Don't get me wrong we need law enforcement. but there are very few cops I like. My brother in law was a cop and he was a butt. Now hes a Harley mechanic and is much nicer.

This wasnt armed robbery, aggravated assault, etc. The Property owner said, no they were on my property and the cop decided to "COP" an attitude with him, which was A: Unprofessional and B: Completely Unecessary. THIS cop was being a total prick, and really needed to be more professional, these guys arent felons, they were just hunting....

once, the DEC was actually dissapointed, they got a call of someone jacking deer, it was me hunting fox at nite. after that, if they got a call of someone jacking deer, and saw my truck, they went about thier business. told me about it next time they saw me. Never saw anything like that. very dissapointing.
