i have the 570 it gave me lots problems even when i bought it new from the store the sales owner had hard time starting it, then it came back for waranty job then i tweak and tune it run good after good saw
I wonder if the shop didn't set it up right? I got mine from Stanton Hope - they set it up and tuned it before I took it away. Starts easily and runs well. Glad you got yours sorted eventually.
Yes, I love it! Tracy uses our 346XP mostly, which is lighter, but I don't find the extra weight of the 570 a problem, and the extra power and low-end torque is great. With a freshly sharpened chain it eats logs for breakfast! :-)
Well, I can strongly recommend it. I use a 15" bar for coppicing, and it has a lot of power with that on. I've also got a 28" bar for firewood processing, but I've not tried that yet.
The best thing is the low end torque - you don't have to rev it up before you start cutting, and you hardly ever find the chain stalling.
It starts easily too, from cold or warm. When warm I find that it works best if you pull slowly to turn the engine over once, then give it a proper pull and it goes first time.
@dav7722 The 334T is a good light top handle climbing saw its great for pruning jobs but for removal jobs i prefer the Stihl 200T.but for cost wise the husky 334T is cheaper but still a great saw
Cool, I bet the 372 is great! I was actually going to buy it, but when I got to the shop they didn't have it in stock, and they did have the 570, so that's what I got. I think the 372XP is lighter and has a bit more power, but cost more. 570 may have higher torque, but not sure on that, as I've not tried the 372.
No, sorry. It's a top-handled saw, i.e. for use up a tree, and we only do ground work. I've not done the exams for working up a tree, so would not be able to buy one of them (not from a reputable shop, at least, as they ask to see your ticket).
