well...with the God Mode(difficulty_scale=0.00) I LOVE eagle more than Sabre or Titan, and that's because it maneuver better than both, and...look great too...BUT, without the cheat, Titan which has 12.500 armor, is the best.

@Optixevil and tell me, why is the sabre the best? as far as I experienced, is that it doesn't manoeuvre better, its turret can't fire beneath, it can store less cargo, less nanobots and shield batteries, it hasn't got better armor, it is worth less credits, and the developers of the game are saying in the ships description that the titan is just the best, I quote: "this provides MAXIMUM offensive and defensive capabilities" and "This ship is, in short, the one"

@inlandnavigator The Sabre's hardpoints are huddled pretty close together, as opposed to the Titan's, making missing less likely while flying a Sabre, especially at close range. Also, the Titan's wings are a weakness because it's much easier to lose them and thus lose your weapons. Titans (and all Corsair ships) lose wings very easily, and the minute boost in armour and bots/batteries just isn't worth the risk. Besides, Eagles kick both Sabres' and Titans' asses because of their maneuverability.

@inlandnavigator Titan provides less firepower than Sabre (because of the front- firing turret) and much less maneuverability than Eagle. All 3 ships have same cargo capacity - 70. Titan only provides a bit more health and a bit more nanobots/shield batteries => it only provides some defensive capabilities but nothing more. And the fact that titan is so freakin expensive makes it to the WORST very heavy fighter in the game. Developers may say whatever they want, Titan is just crap.

@Matto146 My favorite setup is a Tizona del sid, ReaverMKII, Nomad blaster, one Nomad cannon, Diamond back, Wildfire, and Sunslayer Topedo Launcher. Unbeatable with the right Pilot, I always carry a couple extra Nomad weapons in my cargo hold in case Large power weapons start drawing too much. Diamondback hits are like small missile hits for real.

Titan is slow, no doubt to that also they get best shield and armor. Consider is a trade for that.

Sabre is good too compare to Titan.

I check out your video, yea I have to admit this too, the bounty hunter you against. They have less fire power but their greater range and rapid fire are more superior than you do. If going against in ten to one. They are surely pain in the ass.

a. Dresden or Stuttgart to Omega 11.

b. Omega 11 to Omega 41.

c. Omega 41 to Omicron Theta.

If you'll watch the enemy or friendly (I don't know which one) patrol routes, you can find the jump holes to the other system, that's how I got there!

boy, i remember this game. i used to have the stilletto as my ship, it was as menueverable as a light fighter but had enough firepower to kill a capital ship in 3 salvoes from its heavy laser cannons, i believe two of them were diomondbacks but i don't remember the rest. it used up energy extremely fast but recharged quickly and had nigh impenetrable shields, that is, until the game made the save file corrupted. :(

it had 10800 armor, unlike 12600 as Titan.But it is the same,and can dodge enemy fire easier, due to its speed.You can find it on Planet Malta(you must be friendly with outcasts, otherwise, when you dock with the jump hole in omicron theta system(above planet Versus-it's an unknown jump hole-coordonates 4F-G).You must get somehow friendship with the outcasts, maybe a bribe or somehow.

And, if you didn;t knew, Sabre is the best ship.And you know why???Because it can fire with the turret in front of the ship, which causes extra damage.I used to kill a bounty hunter on a level 39 mission(145.000 credits awarded for killing all the bounty hunters ships)in about 1-2 seconds.

hey dude.Get new weapons for that ship.Get to that unknown jump hole in the omicron gamma system( same system you are in this video).There are corsair wrecked ships all over it.Kill 40-50 nomads(if you can-*they are the thoughest enemies in this game) and get nomad blasters and cannons.

Hehee ofc I do. When you are activating the mod there comes a popup box with a lot of option you can change, including you starting amount. You can make that you start with 185000000 credits if you wan't. You can also make changes in the file called "Diff2Money" in 'freelancer \ DATA \ RANDOMMISSIONS.

(Don't use it in multiplayer though.) ;-)

Honestly I changed ship maximum five time (I don't remember exactly because I played through a few times).

(1)First you got that looks like Starlancer then I bought my (2)second on Battleship Missouri that was a very goof boat so I kept it for a long time), a (3)third was from Orion (4)then some kind of heavy fighter or super heavy (I tried out more type - I don't remember which I chose) and in the end the Titan(5).

That's not so many ship changing I think.

Anyway I still feel a little bad, because that's an amazing game, but they didn't used that big space (Understand? Space! Haha.) they created and a couple station was similar or boringly average like almost a box.

For an example the race track was cool and I'd not mind if I could race a few more after the story.

They could add a little more spaceRPG stuff to this. You know, maybe more function for the levels, some attributes or body parts for ships.

About the Eagle, I loved it and I think it looks cool, but the Titan is the best so... I have to live with it. :)

I'm very sad because I couldn't use the turret on these best ships and I didn't looked around by rotating the camera and shoot with turret so it was useless to me.

I had/have the same ship and nomad weapons (without cheat!).

As far as I know, Nomad weapons have the largest damage and they aren't using any energy (funky stuff).

You can find unknown jumpholes in some clouds and on the other side are some Nomads (sometimes they are on this side too - somewhere a planet with monkeys or robots only, but nothing significant) and if you shoot them to death, some will leave Nomad weapons (only weapons, nothing else).
