  • Thanks for posting, this form is very interesting, it is remarkably like the Okinawan Useishi Kata (aka Gojushiho in Japan meaning 54 steps), not just in the movements but in the actual order that they are performed in. The Useishi Kata is usually linked to the "54 steps of the black tiger" in a manual called "the Bubishi" which was a theory that I never took seriously until I saw this performance. Is this a stand-alone style or part of another system, are there other forms that go with it?
