I ordered this from amazon and recieved something that says the color can be wine red, orange, brown or indigo. The brand I was shipped is Funky Looks. Shouldn't it be Henna Hut or Harvest Moon?
@spatchjr Sounds like you got some one elses hair dye. Ours says harvest moon by Henna Hut on the front. Our new labels Say Harvest Moon. It is easy to get products mixed up on Amazon. If you contact us on henna hut .com we can lookup your order.
@reesecup888, it does not discriminate and works on everyone. Skip the conditioning if you can for the first 24 hours. No conditioner prior to aplications. No oil treatments, no leave in conditoners. The darker the hair the less you will see it, however you will see it in the sun. :) Indigo will make you hair very dark, very black.
How does your henna work on African American hair, since our hair tends to be drier. So should we also try to skip the shampoo/conditioning step for 24-48 hrs as well so the color will set in. Also on dark hair will I get the same results your hair model has if I used the deep red or is it better to stick with the indigo? Thanks!
@thepoet19960 hmm blue and henna I can honestly say we have never tried on blue. More than likely it will make it darker. If you use the red orange henna, it will make the blond red orange. red and blue = Purple? So in your case darker all over (black) or you will jsut need to do a strand test and see. This video is with deep red (indigo,henna and clay) so it mught be a deep purple on the blue or black. Deep red on blond will be cherry red or maybe red orange first time.
@tinathewhale It is the lighting. The red lights up as the light hits it. Yes you should be fine, everyones hair is different. You can also use mahogany for a small amount of red. it iwll make your hair darker as well. Or just do the deep red and leave it on for 30 minutes to start. Strand test are best!
how much would you need if you have longer hair? like mid back length? is there a way to make it more red by using teas? or does leaving it longer than an hours make it more red?
hello, about to mix the henna (obviously bought from henna hut) just one question. after mixing whith the water how long do I leave it before applying to my hair.
I have like a brown/goldish natural color hair and I was just wondering, how red can I get it if I tried dying it with henna?..How long would I have to keep it on?...I'm willing to sleep overnight if I have to, time isn't a problem..I just want a light reddish hair. And also does lemon juice enhance the red?
@xJustxxClaudiax We do sell "pure" henna, and you do not need to use lemon juice with ours, it is very fresh every time. Henna will give you a red orange, our deep red is "deep" red. No lemon at all with this product.
If you sue lemon it will turn orange. if you leave it in all night , wow what a nightmare to get out. one hour will turn it super orange. go to Henna Hut for more colors and info
That sounds awesome :) I just purchased some and it should be delievered to my house in a few days. I am super excited to try it. I love red hair but can never get chemical dyes to stay more than two weeks which is just a waste of money. Plus this stuff is healthier :).
after using henna, the hair will return to it's natural color after some months? or it will never return to the natural color?

@1012girl12 It will fade over time, but your natural color will grow back in. Hair grows about .5 -1 inch a month on average. Each person varies.

@LoveRoXera You do not let it sit. Mix and apply after you have washed your hair twice with out conditioner.
You can use rinse conditioner after you wash your hair in 24 hours.
