True, but it cannot be a half hearted effort - like the BRT part B, extension of the same corridor. First the government buckles under completely false media reporting to go to the left, with no segregation and nothing different from any other Delhi road, then they go ahead and construct bus shelters on completely functional cycle tracks and footpath. Honestly, there could not be a more effective way of destroying a good concept.
At least now, the stupid Blue Line drivers won't try racing a Maruti or an Opel Astra and create commotion. I'm glad it worked out in the end, despite the archaic-knuckleheads screaming murder over it initially. Now, if only the pedestrians learn to cross the road only when it's appropriate and the drivers learn to drive within their lanes, things will be a lot better.
wow...bus ride in delhi seems so nice and uninterrupted...cant wait to see to delhi transport in 2010 with metro, skyrail, brt integrated and commuting in delhi becomes a heaven!!!
