Your explanation if fantastic as is your playing. I love melodic style. The only thing about it, is that as a beginner, it's much harder to fudge through your mistakes because every melody note is played; and there aren't so many fill-in licks. I'm struggling with Irish Washerwoman in that style. Still, I love melodic banjo. I bought Bill Keith's book when it first came out. Many thanks for posting this and thumbs up to you.
