  • @Alexandersaint1 really? Shoot spent fuel to the sun? Ok two problems strait away, any idea what it costs to sent a ton of payload to space? And that's just get it there let alone travel the millions of miles to the sun. Also plenty of spacecraft have blown up on there way up. A couple of tons of nuclear waste in the upper atmosphere no thanks.

  • This way to send informations is the same as TV and makes the viewer confuse. It is a subtle way and it works well. RARE are the people who can read and listen in the same time something so serious. Also why using a cam if there is nothing but text and sound. Why not using a website and fix the radio there? It's easyer to read. I loose my time trying to understand and come back and stop and rewind and o... f,,,k I choose better way to inform myself, finally. good effort...

  • excellent interview, thank you for uploading!

  • Send the radioactive material into out space.... Yes, it's tragic and heart breaking.

  • @benjy545 I always wonder what the problem with shooting spent fuel rods into the sun would be. Its certainly better than any storage ideas weve had so far. 30-40 years of power, 250000 years of radioactive waste. The math (even if slightly off) speaks for itself. The nuclear industry needs to go before it contaminates all of Earth... Oh, wait...

  • Brilliant. Great reporting. Thanks. Someone able to make sense of the situation. As sure as night follows day safety will will be jeopardised because of cost with Nuclear Power stations.

  • i never understood the 9-11 targets,if the terrorist really wanted to fuck our country simply take out a nuke plant located on the great lakes,or columbia river.that would have fucked us forever.instead the towers were hit,3000 folks died and bush and all his buddies got fantastically rich.i do feel so bad on my inside for these people in japan,so so fucking sad.hell of a way to boil water.

  • nuclear is not the answer. end it's use now.

  • this is heartbreaking :(

  • you should look up..on chernobyl animals researchs...they actually found out that the second generation is adapting well...their dna has mutated and they can better handle living in a radiated environment..I know...anyway check it out thnks for the links...microbiology is not my field but i am now working my way to collect more scientific data...i think anyone taht could do something about it should..and should get an entry to the best labs

  • @slsconnected27 what?i did do some research on the russian accident.the official reports down played the still births and deformities of the research animals.all still highly radioactive, animals and plants.some species wiped out.extreme aggressiveness in the animals that survive now being witnessed in the japan animals.life continues, but much differently than normal conditions.

  • His spin about Three Mile Island radiation release is not accurate as there is no acknowledgement of the increase in various diseases and cancers for which there is no other reason but TMI for the increase.

Fundamentally wrong is that Nuclear Power is not safe. The grid goes down, the backup generators stop working for any reason (EMP, Solar Flare, whatever) those batteries last from 8 - 48 hours max and its game over...another meltdown. Its not a matter of if, but of when.

    It is flawed!

  • Japan...stop the burning of radioactive wastes.....Now..dont burry it...piled it up on fukushima site in protective container under high monitoring surveillance...if it get to that point..cover the japanesse islands and create an aliance with a neihbooring country...create a new country on a safer land

  • @slsconnected27 /watch?v=hXGnghEgZRE&list=FL0QsFsvPIEaXaqaCLNPlNRQ&index=1&feature=plpp_video

    Fukushima prefecture just going bad...

  • We did create GMO...engineering such a fungus could be possible as well...clinical trials must be starting..Our govenments should create a fund for financing research for the professionals but as well in the general public...where hidden talented minds are often found...WHAT ABOUT that?

  • "The solution" at this point has to be a bacteria a fungus or a particle that would create an Absorbancy of radionuclides.....get it to become highly concentrated in a liquid solutionmixed with boron and nitrogen entumbed the depts of the geological site of the accident create a lead like membrane on the sea floor and containing it with high floaters...keeping in mind pssible earthquake leaks from the membrane

  • that ny times headline was priceless.... Is spent fuel really waste? Lol, I need a good laugh.

  • @jdocks777 I thought I was the only one who noticed that absurdity.

Perhaps the industry is realizing that they can no longer hide the fact that the yearly increase of nuclear waste (lasting greater than 240,000 years) can no longer be hidden and spun in the news as "Nuclear Power is cheaper", thus they say that headline.

    Pathetic.

Remember dry casks crack and need replacing every 50 yrs, they never last 80-100 as advertised, cracks appear by year 50. At what cost ~ re-casking?

  • It's like only us chickens can see into the future, and the rest of the world has been blinded ! I hope busby or someone can rescue all the children and woman and then maybe people might wake up ! Maybe !

    Thanks MMtC !!!

  • Nuke quack says Chernobyl is not Fukushima, they're very dif, they require dif solutions. Gets to the middle of this dissuading "neutralizing" the nuclear reaction, as would be accomplished by boron and sand, saying because it's going to rupture once in a week, it's a bad idea. Yet claiming they don't know what they will use to neutralize it, if only something could be conceived to neutralize it, boron and sand would work, but ignore that, because we'd have to do it 1 more time in a week. Idiot.

  • @danielvincentkelley totally agree, that engineer is a moron

  • Travolta was a dancing machine back in the day! :-D Time to hold a dance competition at Fukushima and invite those that were responsible to it! :-P

  • The PTB are hell bent to bring Japan down.

  • This is disinformation. Boron and sand. Liquid nitrogen would also be helpful. This need more thinking BS is undulating crap. There was NO REASON to let this melt down go on almost a year and still not halt it with enough boron and sand. The glass that would have formed that would presumably have burst and discharge another time, would have stopped the discharge of radioactive material into the air then the ocean. This chump talking is owned by the nuke industry on his way to treason death.

  • @danielvincentkelley Unlike Chernobyl, they can NOT dig underneath Fukushima as they did in Russia. Thus no amount of cover will stop the melting cores from eating through the bottom.

They have announced that no one in the world has the technology to go in and grab the cores, much less make them safe. NO ONE...so exactly how is Nuclear Power safe? ITS NOT.

Stop Nuclear Power whether he is owned by the industry or not, it does not matter. Expand zones from 10 to 400 mi

  • @cbemerine

WRONG. The Russians didn't have to dig under it. They were going to put liquid nitrogen under it, but decided against it. They dropped sand and boron on it by helicopter. Even if they had to dig under it, you state no reason why they're not able. OBVIOUSLY it could be dug under, if that was necessary, which it isn't.

  • @danielvincentkelley watch?v=yiCXb1Nhd1o at about 38 mins in it talks about the miners that dug the tunnel. At about 41 mins in you see a diagram of where they are digging to, directly under the reactor. They dug without protective clothing, one of the miners ingested a hot particles in his drink and died...its all in there, well worth a watch.

At Fukushima, my understanding (imperfect) is that proximity to the ocean and soil type prevents them from digging under it.

  • @cbemerine

As it is, coming up on a whole year they've done nothing, absolutely NOTHING to STOP the GROWING nuke melt down. ALL TEPCO Executives should be executed by firing squad. The Japanese government that had the responsibility to govern this area, especially the Prime Minister should be executed if he's not assassinated first. What do you think is going to happen when that nuke core hits Earths mantle?

  • @danielvincentkelley I agree that the gov officials, the IAEA and Tepco should all be prosecuted. Absolutely.

As should the bankers who engineered the bailouts in the US and any politician (or other public servant) in the USA that violates their oath of office.

  • I always hit the like button even though these reports piss me off, how's about making some more gun porn vids, those always seem to brighten my day : )

  • @gregman909 as soon as the new AR15 arrives, I'll be sure to do that :) (thanks for the thumbs up... I think I told you YouTube permanently removed my thumb up button but for some reason I still have a down button.. WTF?) Bang bang... :)

  • @MsMilkytheclown like or dislike are evil buttons anyway

  • @MsMilkytheclown Maybe your comp can't stand so much world interference... Try to clean it from inside out. use also adblock with firefox

  • Happy Saturday everyone.

  • @nismobeach /watch?v=FECFb1_YdII

  • No, they bombed it with LEAD!!! Why do they leave these things out?

  • @analyzingfunny I dunno. I'm going to go work on a mindless puzzle...
