  • Fuuuck! I didn't know Jake One did Rock Co Kane Flow! De La and Doom on the one track always loved that song.

  • JAKE 1 Is a serioussss producer wow

  • One of the dopest albums to ever get released!!!! every track=FIRE!!!!

  • wat program was used to make this promo???if any knows get at me...thnx

  • the album is fire from the beginning to the end

  • dope

  • is that Kutfather talking?

  • anyone know any album sharing sites?? albumbase and albumhunt got shut down =(

  • first beat name?

  • btw jake ones production on DOOMS new albums fukkin incredible

  • Yeah it's a dope album, but does any1 know where that 1st beat is from? It's not on the album. I like that opera shit.

  • its on the grind date album by de la soul the song is called rock co. cane flow

  • @bluntedlakers but 50 cent also does a song to that beat called "put a hole in yo back"

  • man...us rappers have some gay ass names..lol

  • seems like the masons have made there way in2 the underground fuckkkk

  • wtf is this????

i was all happy when i saw DOOMS name come up and then busta rhymes?freeway?

    PRODIGY???

    WHAT IS THIS???????

  • have you herd the song with Freeway and Brother ali?

  • whats wrong with busta rhymes ?

Idk who freeway is so I cant say anything.

  • Hot album pick it up!

  • Wayyyyy too many wack appearances. The beats were phenomenal but I wasn't feeling at least 60 percent of the artists.

The instrumental that comes with the full release is a much better CD.

  • fo real, i thought this was gonna be the shit but i dont know its lacking something

  • Yeah i'm a little upset with this joint too, I also got that new Statik Selektah "Stick 2 the Script" and it's just So/So

  • I feel you on the statik joint. i liked maybe 3 songs on it and the rest ust feels like filler

  • I just copped this, and it was AMAZING. All the tracks were straight fire. From start to fininsh i can't get enough of this album. I really want everyone to buy this, trust me this will be the best $10 you will ever spend this year.

  • SEATTLE REPRESENT!

  • jake one trc real fucking hip hop

  • I agree totally, fuck an elitest attitude but doesn't mean I'm not entitled to my opinion that 50 cent, G-Unit and the likes are talentless pricks.

Haven't heard much of Jakes stuff (that I know of) but I'll check this out, lot of good collabos on there.

  • youve never heard rock cocaine flow? shows what the fuck you know

  • i just picked this up from amoeba. it's fuckin sick.

  • I was not aware that Jake One is responsible for the Rock Cocaine Flow beat...

    *head explodes*

    I will cop this.

  • Jesus... Who's NOT on this album?

    There's like 20 guests.

  • Yo I got the cd and it's bangin out of control. Jake one got some ill ass beats.

  • off the .....

  • damn the promo

    is fkn of the hooook

    power to the people

  • Dope album.

  • Sub 4 sub anyone??? and this song is sick im gonna use it for a sk8 demo

  • We could remove some of the racism and bullshit if we could just look at music like honest self expression dammit! Beautifully done guys! Keep em comin' We always can handle a good eargasm!!

  • You elitists need to remove yourself from the played out "underground" vs "mainstream" mentality. This here is what hip hop has always been about - artists of all backgrounds and "success" levels with a common love for the music. Judge not what you can't relate to. To insult someone as legendary as Busta Rhymes just because your little sister who doesn't "get it" might dance to him is pathetic. RSE is putting out a compilation that we should be thankful for and respect - with no dotted lines.

  • the song is badass with the beats

  • well if young buck got on there, i think odds of nas or jay z ever getting on an album like this are very slim. who would ever thought that buck being featured on an album like this would ever happen. nas and jay-z are old school, they go back to the days when they used to battle dudes like biggie, and big l & ain't nothing wrong with them neither now or than.

  • jay'z is a goof

  • nas and nastradamus albums were sick!!! when i was 16 yrs old... but now rap has progressed so much for me that nas don't cut it fo this mafluffa... although jay'z comes tight 'sometimes' but other times jay'z stinks up the place, owning def jam and givin ma boy redman the cold shoulder wussup widdit!!!??

  • this is officially a forum

  • this is officially of forum

  • Yo Jake!? you should hook up RA the rugged man on some rough beat type isht, i'd love to hear it.. :D

  • i've never herd of Keak Da Sneak does that make him underground to me????

  • haha your obviously not from the bay area

i guess if your not from the bay yea but he s a legend over here

  • from the bay to LA doggy !

  • whats the third beat after the de la soul and bishop lamont ones?

  • trap door feat mf doom

  • nah the one right before that, and the one right after that song I can't figure out

  • before is "god like" by D.Black and after is "gangsta boy" by MOP

  • dammit what song is the intro.. i know it i just can remember it.. thats gunna piss me off cas i know that songs the shit

  • just read 2-3 comments below.

  • yung buck?????????

thats the same guy who couldn't freestyle on wild n out

nick cannon showed him up on that shit

and your letting him share an album with some of the best underground lyricists in hip hop

    very disappointing to hear this

if your gonna mix up underground and main stream together on an album, mix it up with some respectable main stream artists

(nas, jay-z etc.) come on man

  • fuck jay z

  • jay-z & Nas aren't going to reach out to an indie label producer... Nas & Jay have been making themselves look like fools for the past couple of years.

urverysmelly thought it was 50 cent because at 50's prime he did a freestyle over it right before the massacre came out which Jake One was featured on.

  • @urverysmelly123: 50? ...omg .. i almost puked ... found the original song, thx to the channel owner :P

"De La Soul - Rock Co.Kane Flow ft. MF Doom" from the album The Grind Date.

    @TheRealRhymesayers: thx :)

  • what song is the first beat in this video from ?

  • Rock Co.Cane Flow

  • hole in ya back- 50 cent ft busta rhymes.

im almost sure thats what the name is, and if it isnt, then its really close

  • How the fuck are Busta Rhymes, Keak Da Sneak, Prodigy, or Freeway underground?

  • Thats what I'm wondering.

  • pretty sure it said "from some of todays most notable mainstream and underground artists" it never said freeway, keak, prod,or busta where underground.

  • shiiit got some good artists on it.. might have to get it

  • wow looks interesting, im keeping an open mind

  • busta's verse on scenario anyone?

  • im super hyped on this album

  • Would have been better if Jake got different artists to collab with each other, like Slug & Young Buck or MOP and Brother Ali. It disappoints me when someone in Jake's position doesn't do a little more to bridge the gap between the different types of underground rappers.

Nonetheless, this album will be awesome

  • Hey, I think the way he's done it is pretty awesome. Not many could or would hook up: Brother Ali & Freeway, Bishop Lamont & Busta Bust or Black Milk & Nottz together. It's pretty new and decent. You've obviously not seen the tracklist.

  • i saw the tracklist before I made the comment. I stand by my statement.

  • Okay okay..Im preordering it!

  • Best album of 2008, I'm callin' it!!!

    SICK lineup!!!

  • thats gunna be ill an i agree slug should hit up texas i sure as hell support it

  • haha funny how buster Rhymers is featured, Thats Hilarious fuck Buster Rhymers, mad respect to Slug, and All of Rhymesayers though May the Underground live on.

  • true that man, true that. The main reason this is going to be awesome is cuz all the underground people are gonna get noticed, and if there on the same CD as the mainstream, people are FINALLY gonna realize real hip-hop isn't on the radio. Big ups to RSE!!

  • who woulda' thunk it:

slug and young buck sharing an album.

  • This is real music, Come to houston please slug, Texas wants you.

  • Did you not just see this video, Hip-hop aint dead there is just a lot of people trying to kill it...im tired of hearing that crap. As long as you have real MCs, like people from Rhymesayers, rapping it cant die. And Busta Rhymes is a legend have you ever heard of Leaders of the New School?

  • exactly, people think jsut cause you selling records you aren't good...

  • your a faggot busta rhymes is one of the best to ever do it. there are some good mainstream rappers but fuck it you dont know anything outside rhymesayers anyways

  • A lot of systems trying to kill it.

Viper, Psycho-logical, Doom Tree, RSE, Up Above to name a few. Fuck the Majors. Don't know shit about the underground.

What's a mainstream rapper? Kanye. Haha, give me a break.

XVX for life, R.A.S.H. 'til death.

  • im not saying mainstreams better than underground but to hate something strictly because its mainstream is just narrow minded. and i think we can all agree that kanye sucks though haha

but anyone who disses busta rhymes is just plain ignorant... the man is a legend and was one of dillas fav artists

  • Yeah, I agree with your point. I guess what I'm trying to say is, never buy major label shit. Take someone like Nas, I won't buy any plastic from him, but a crew like E&A, yeah, I'll shell out 10 bucks for that ish.

Even if Nas is a dope fucker. That goes for Dead Prez as well. They want to make my money, they better start touring.

Lastly, it's a different age. When Hip Hop just was getting mainstream, yeah, you could be true school and signed, because it was chaos. These days, it's systematic

  • All these cats just looking for a deal, only to become pawns to this suicide system. There is historical context as well.

And Busta is a homophobic pissant. He might be a pioneer, but he sure as hell ain't educated enough to speak wisdom. I'm thinking someone more like KRS, even though I've met the dude, and he has some weird theories too.

  • i dont know tho but if nas' album is better than E&A hypothetically speaking wouldnt you want to buy it due to the fact that you would be shelling out money on a better album?

as for busta i dont ever see him speaking wisdom i just listen to him when i want to have a good time. hip hop doesnt need to have a conscious message all the time.

  • I'll just crush the side topic that will probably come out of that comment. Nas is not better than E&A.

  • im not even gonna debate that. i just dont like rhymesayers or eyedea in general. i prefer nas. but at least you like hiero so you and i do agree on something

  • Looking good

  • Jake Too.
