holy crap, somehow it didn't occur to me that so many brands would test on animals in this day and age. now that i found the list... eek. don't know how i'll be shopping from now on. most of them are drugstore brands, i don't see how i could cut their products out all together and that's sad

@denmark57000 oh no they are cruel but with some companies they will go by the laws of different countries so they can sell their products there. Such as neutrogena, they still will test some of their things that they sell to other countries to meet their standers.

I find that the foundation is easier to apply using a stipling brush. It allows you to build up to a medium coverage.

I agree with most of what you said. My favorite way to apply the blush is to pat it on my cheek. Like you would with a color stick. Blend with my fingers or a brush.

I think the mousse foundation is a little dark on you, so good thing you are not in love.

The color tattoo cream shadows do not last that long on me. They crease&fade on me between about five to eight hours, but I am oily. Best drug store cream shadow to date though, agree with you on that.

I have several MAC Paint Pots and also have the Maybelline Color Tatts. I love to save a buck(and I luv ur videos, Em!), but I have to disagree (it's probably just your particular shade of paint pot), my paint pots are 10 times better/longer lasting than the Maybellines. The colors are better too, and much more vibrant! I wonder what shade of paint pot you have...

Hi Em! Love the vids :) could u recommend a really long lasting blush? Not from the DS, I'm looking for a higher end one! I have mac&Nars,and I find both fade quickly, even tho I have normal to dry skin, not oily in the slightest! It's weird, whenever u show the bottle of foundation ur using in ur videos, or swatch it on ur hand, I always think it looks way too dark for you. But then when u blend it, it looks perfect!

I wanted to love the Color Tattoo eyeshadow really bad, and I still do, but for me who has really oily eyelids that crease instantly without primer, this just didn't last very long without creasing. I think I went for a couple of hours before getting a little bit of creasing, and this was without primer, so I will have to try it with primer now to see if that works better for me. Love your videos sooo much!! :)

I really like the tattoo color shadows. They're almost reminiscent of a Mac Paintpot. They also work great as a liner-- the blue gives an amazing pop of color for the lower lashline, and won't budge/run like some pencils may.

I tried the Bouncy blush in Candy Coral on my tan skin and it did not show up. However, it makes a wonderful eyeshadow. So, if it shows up too light or not at all, doubling it as a cream shadow will get you your money's worth. :-)
