So if the tail is stretched out behind it as it approaches the sun and comes to 0233 AU from us, then the tail of dirty crap will be aimed at the earth for several days. See the Rothera base archived and current image files starting on the 4th of this month at about 17:00-19:00 hours as the sun passes over head and you will see what I mean. There are also correlating webcam time lapse vids from the Aurora Australis and Macquarie Islands on the Australian Antarctic Division webcams. Keep looking.
