well, all I have to say, is Michigan is certainly under estimating the VT team. As for who have they beat, well FSU, Miami, GT, well, everyone in the conference except for Clemson....but also keep in mind a lot of key players were out with injuries. VT deserves to be there and will show!
Virginia Tech has a way of getting to big games via their easy schedule (Beamer Ball) then getting their butts kicked. Last season was an example when Luck gave Taylor a lesson in quarterbacking. Clemson owned Tech not once, but twice this season. I am one of many that feel tech should be playing in a minor bowl game....

@h0k13 no you should check your stats, vtech is 1-2 against ranked opponents, espn dont lie, and i could say the same about msu who im pretty sure had a tougher schedule, and they lost a closer game also, but because itwas msu they get looked over, everyone understands y michigan got nthe bid, but no one understands y vtech got the bid...hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

@xxD1RTYxB1RDxx EVERYONE understands why Tech was picked. Some people just don't like it. The nature of the bowl system is established programs (Michigan, VT, etc) get better games. That's not a secret. Tech has the most wins in the nation since '95, the most consecutive 10-win seasons, 3rd longest bowl streak & winningest active coach.

@xxD1RTYxB1RDxx How a team that lost in the regular season to one team, then doesn't even play for it's conference championship, gets to sit idly by for a week, and still go to the national championship game is-it's the same thing! VT's good, not as good as Clemson because they beat VT, but when a team only loses to one good team..you're still good...
