a little more info on the swap would be nice. will it just drop right in and bolt to the original motor mounts what do u have to do to make this engine work in the truck.

Custom motor mounts - relocated the mount stands on the subframe to fit closer to the 1uz mount area - used the stock gear box - Quantum-Auto manual swap kit -

Sorry random question. Do you Know if W58 and W56 bellhousings bolt to the trany the same way. I found an costom bellhousing to mate A 1uz to a W58. I am wondering if I can use it on my 4x4 P/U with a W56.

@RocketRaspeed Yeah the w58 and the w56 will have the same bolt pattern for the adapter.

For our adapter kit we use the stock auto bellhousing... and an adapter plate which bolts to any W series gear boxes.

@mengthor I would work the same for the 2uz as it does the 1uz, but the 1uz is straight overkill as it is.
