  • How many reps and sets should you do to start with. Also, is holding on the the wall cheating?

  • @jennydow Holding onto the wall is not cheating, but you will not train your stabilizer muscles much. If you want to get the maximum benefit out of these exercises, don't hold the wall. By not holding the wall your ankles will get strengthened nicely. 5 reps for 5 sets is a good formula for strength. Just make sure that the exercises are hard enough for that to be a challenge. Bodyweightculture has some good exercises, google them, they explain a lot.

  • The jumping calf raises are just like skipping and they'll kill your calves. More so on alternating left to right leg.
