@JDev82 No disrespect, and I'm not dissin Wu when I make this statement, but when Wu came out wit the shirts and Wu-wear they weren't part of the fashion industry. That was basically a "hood" thing that you had to buy from the back of one of their cd's/tapes or at a show. Russell was the first to actually to be involved in the corporate world of fashion with the Hillfigers of the fashion industry at that time. Wu just came out with T-shirts and hats etc. Thats not technically a fashon line.
you stated--Bush wants to take away a woman's right to choose(?) do you realize that 50 million black babies have been aborted in the usa and that black women abort at rates 3 times higher that any other group.
if republicans hated blacks as much as some think, then why don't they support abortion?
instead the left, planned parenthood and others have made a concerted effort to fund the abortion of black babies in particular. --google it.
It's because there are more cases in the poor communities when the mother has no option, and there may even be violence if the pregnancy goes through.
noooooooooo... you need to back up a bit to pre-conception. people in poorer communities are irresponsible and obviously don't think about the consequences of their actions which leads to pregnancy and abortion. poor women should be conscious enough to protect against pregnancy and disease, but of course it's too much to ask that a woman choose to be responsible for her own body and actions BEFORE the unwanted pregnancy.
funny, have you every heard of something called being taken advantage of, coerced or lacking of various forms of birth control? There are middle and upperclass who have children, but they can support having a child. Everybody has sex, its an urge, now depriving people of choice is absurd. Plus, how can you value something that does can not value itself?
not getting your logic--or lack there of. sex drive is not in question--taking responsibility for it is though. try reading anything by Ayn Rand and wake yourself up a little bit.
Haha I could see you as someone who is quite self-centered, I've read various works by Ayn Rand, and it was interesting, although I didn't agree with it. Normally people with your views are cold who think they are intellectually superior. It's the god complex that Rand had. Also there are countless ways to disprove ethical egoism, so it is not true.
call it "egoism" or whatever you will, but if the average person knew how to consciously and responsibly take care of Self (and family), this world would be a safer as well as better place. i'm not going to continue the back and forth after this because it's pointless-- you obviously don't believe in personal responsibility--you seem the type that will always find an excuse to blame for your own(or other's) failings.
yea, that's what her beliefs were, ethical egoism. Now I do believe in social responsibility, but let me give you a though expt. If a woman is raped by a man, is she supposed to keep the child? The sole purpose of giving birth is to continue our race, but we are over populated, so it only makes the world worse. If anything, have too many kids hurts this world and shows a lack of respect for humanity. You are supposed to adopt pets from a shelter, the same goes for kids.
I love the Lil Kim instrumental in the beginning (:
