125 km/hour really isnt that fast. that is only about 75 miles per hour. your average tournament player can throw that fast. you would be shocked to see how fast the discs come out of the hands of the top pros of the sport. it would litteraly blow your mind at how fast it is.

@mvs784 , actually it doesnt matter what the disc is! believe me, the radar measures discs speed from the beginning of its flight...the disc or whatever looses its speed all the time after release so you could measure your throwing speed for example throwing anything....once I threw my glove and radar showed same speed as for disc!!! trust me , but ERNO is one of the fastest in the planet

i can throw fast. but throwing a disc golf disc is way different. you have to have a disc the will "S" curve in order to throw over 225m. I throw about 130km/hr on average with a GUTS disc but cannot throw it over 185m (no wind at all). it's all in the disc and angle of release.

i love to see these guys with there i through as hard as possible throws but the good players ive seen only use about 60% of thier power i still use about 80 but that is lame you couldnt play 36 holes with that and expect to do it the next day
