You get my point? Halo is better than CoD but CoD is used as a template for a load of shooters. Battlefield Bad Company isn't running on the same gameplay as CoD and is in some ways intherior and in others it's superior. But whichever way you cut it, all games where you can kill someone with one shot from any weapon in the game is nothing new. It's been done to death and if you want that experience then play Modern Warfare. It does it the best.

No... I'm saying it's the basis for a LOT of shooters. CoD took a lot of it's mechanics from Halo and halo has done with Halo Reach what CoD could not with any game released so far. Reach is a game where tactics are crucial in every bullet you use. There are a few OP guns but at the same time they are rarely seen online. A far greater degree of skill is required for each kill and with the customisable gametypes and the new Forge engine the game has near endless possibilities.
