I'm going to say it's better than nothing but only use it as a last resort-too much kick, and it's too loud (that's the main issue). Plus, as with any weapon the farther away the better and while a Desert Eagle can travel far, that's not what it was made for.
sadly you guys were kind of thinking coolness with the machete. Although I agree it would be effective, over time its going to dull. The human skull is pretty hard and durable so you want something that is hard a able to get in small orifices such as eyes mouth ears so personally I would use a crowbar. The solid piece of iron plus the points make it easy to stab and bash a skull in. Plus you can break into place so you want multi tools. Less to carry means more energy to run.

1. hatchet would be a good weapon, in close situtations one hit can break the skull
2. bow and arrows, you do not need special tips, and its just point and shoot
3. if this is the walking dead, they would rely on their senses/animal instincts to find humans, so the sound of a gun shot could attract one of them, and then the others would see this one walking and follow
everything but the ar-15,which is a version of the m16,they are made of plastic,so you cant use bayonets,you need a nail or ballpoint pen to adjust the sights,and its hard to clean and prone to jamming

actually the bow and arrow would actually be good to have. it's quite, unlike the firearm, which is loud and will attract other zombies attention. It really isn't hard to aim with a bow and arrow. After viewing this video, you really don't know what you are talking about. I've done my research, I know what is good and what isn't. You two have no knowledge of firearms, make shift weapons, or objects that have the intent of being a weapon. This isn't the REAL Z Unit.

Also the arrows take up more space and they also have very limited range. If you viewed and listened properly to our video we recommend a .22 cal. rifle because of its mobility, range, accuracy, cheap ammunition, silence, and stopping power. a .22 would do jack you would need multiple shots to the head with that gun to do damage. get a 9mm the ammo is cheap and many ppl carry it ex. cops, military. no1 carry .22 ammo cause its like a bb gun it would do nothing, 9mm also come in rifles too so if you have a 9mm pistol and a 9mm rifle your set.

I'm going to say it's better than nothing but only use it as a last resort-too much kick, and it's too loud (that's the main issue). Plus, as with any weapon the farther away the better and while a Desert Eagle can travel far, that's not what it was made for.

sadly you guys were kind of thinking coolness with the machete. Although I agree it would be effective, over time its going to dull. The human skull is pretty hard and durable so you want something that is hard a able to get in small orifices such as eyes mouth ears so personally I would use a crowbar. The solid piece of iron plus the points make it easy to stab and bash a skull in. Plus you can break into place so you want multi tools. Less to carry means more energy to run.

i have a couple problems (assuming we are talking the walking dead not infection based zombies):
1. hatchet would be a good weapon, in close situtations one hit can break the skull
2. bow and arrows, you do not need special tips, and its just point and shoot
3. if this is the walking dead, they would rely on their senses/animal instincts to find humans, so the sound of a gun shot could attract one of them, and then the others would see this one walking and follow
