They need to make it so Xbox and ps3 can play online together. What's the point of fighting over something if there's never going to be a winner. People have different opinions.

Probably buy both after I finish building my gaming PC. Which is best? PC. What's second? xbox 360 and ps3. They both have upsides and downsides. Only reason I'll buy both consoles is so I can play against my friends when they are around since the only thing PCs suck for is splitscreen. The left 4 dead games are the only ones I like that can do split screen on PC.
if you've had the xbox for more than a year (or more,I didn't have the sound on my computer,just clicked this) then it is most likely to break,like most consoles do,it's just mechanical error,it happens because nothing lasts forever.

I've had my ps3 ever since the 80 gigs came out and only overheated it once! And that's when I played all day(after I moved and didn't have any friends)! I still have it! -random fact- my dad tried to destroy my ps2 by DRIVING over it with a 2 ton car and it did very little damage! It's in my basement still in one piece! The ps3 was dropped down stairs and thrown on the ground and yet I still use it to pwn fps gamers!

I have owned both, and I have to say, the hardware for the ps3 is amazing, but the online sucks. It's unorganized and it's hard to interact with friends. I like xbox's online service much better, especially with the party chat feature.

Everyone who uses the price of the 360 as an argument are IDIOTS. You have to buy the hard drive to even USE it for anything, so the price is already higher than the PS3. Most games for it are just lame arcade games (Kind of like the wii) Or games that are on the PS3 anyway, only worse. I've played both consoles for a year each, and I agree that PS3 is better for graphics, games, free internet, and performance. The only thing I have to say now... PC IS BETTER THAN ALL CONSOLES! PC POWER!

Also I had trouble deciding what to buy but I decided to buy a Ps3.I agree that the Ps3 doesn't have as many games but they work harder on the games.Sure the Xbox 360 has halo but Ps3 has Uncharted and LittleBigPlanet. I guess it means on what type of gamer you are.Either someone who wants a big selection and has money to spend or a gamer that wants a few great games and doesnt have to waste they're cash.But they're opinions so both are great and maybe in the future we can decide.

I've had my ps3 ever since the 80 gigs came out and only overheated it once! And that's when I played all day(after I moved and didn't have any friends)! I still have it! -random fact- my dad tried to destroy my ps2 by DRIVING over it with a 2 ton car and it did very little damage! It's in my basement still in one piece! The ps3 was dropped down stairs and thrown on the ground and yet I still use it to pwn fps gamers!

I have owned both, and I have to say, the hardware for the ps3 is amazing, but the online sucks. It's unorganized and it's hard to interact with friends. I like xbox's online service much better, especially with the party chat feature.

So I'd see the X360 as an option if you don't have a PC.
PS3 is the "perfect" console if you ask me, it has best of everything.
The Move is also very smart, it's much better than the Wii-stuff.

I can say that, dude, PS3 sucks, its multiplayer is only free because they have no dedicated servers, xbox live is paid because live actually uses dedicated servers and have put allot of money into making it the best connections for online console gaming, PS3 has only a few reasons why people think its better
1. WTF, who cares about blue-ray
2. Internet can be used on a PC
3. Xbox Slim fixed all errors that the standard Xbox failed at, hence, PS3 not hardware better
