well as it is stated, "trying", this is not a fully schooled GSD knowing how to herd, they ALL have to start somewhere... get a grip will ya, give them a chance and you wont have any other breed.
The dog is showing very nice instinct. Herding breeds do not all work the same: a Border Collie, Aussie, GSD, Bouvier ... all has their distinct style. GSDs do beautifully, I wish more owners would take their's herding. Good Luck, Rebel!!
