I never heard this song before my husband died; I heard it the first time about 2 weeks after he passed unexpectedly in 2007. He was my everything and still is. If Dido cared enough to create this song, and God saved it for the darkest time in my life, I decided to hang in there for the sake of fulfilling my role in the universe in a positive, constructive way. On the old NBC drama "Medical Investigation" with Neal McDonough, Anna Belknap and Khandi Alexander that lasted one season, this song was the theme for one episode where a child died in one of the classic 16 episodes in the 2004-2005 season, the only one of this great series. I never heard this song the whole way through but after that episode it stuck with me through some family deaths and it says one message "this too shall pass for better days are ahead".
This song helped me so much after my darling little wife died, the lyrics hit me and woke me up. It's like a Bonus/EXTRA track, it goes : -the CLOSEr U get the Better I feel .... - or sumthing like this. At 1st I missed out on hearing no. 12. I thought after 11 there was NOthing, I'd play the CD from the start again. ThanX
