With the way Kurt's hair is I think it was during their 93 performance...throught 1990. Kurt had long hair and dyed red hair.

its England 90. Kurt cut his long hair in 1990 as a signal of divorce to Sub Pop grunge bands that all wear they re hair long like Kurt did during Bleach phase, as they were entering a different kind of sound (pre nevermind era),he wanted a new look too, to divorce completely from "Bleach" image.
