@capleskylline SR20DET can be swapped in an AE86 which is RWD as well. I doubt though it can be swapped on the FWD version of the late Corollas (AE92, AE101 and AE111)

@BZLEVIN wait a sec man! this car is 1.6 liter engine, the rival should be the civic type R, the integra dc2 type r IS 1.8 liter, wich is rival to the celica gts (2001), and if you ask me, after the dc2 and ek9, the celica and the ae111 are the best of the choices, just look around and you will see is truth, those euro hatchbacks with N.A. engines sucks!

@BZLEVIN truth my friend, those DC2 integras require high level of driving skills to squeeze all the perfomance they have. in my country, several young people die because they subestimate the DC2, so they speed and crash to death

@jnr1989 yeh the engine isnt as HP based, but it produces about 15% more torque lower down the rev range, more power at lower RPMs, its not all about peak power on a track. All of my cars have been JDM apart from one german car, so u cudnt call me a EDM troll. I just think to discount the euro hatches overall is a bit narrow minded. like i said its not all about peak power...

@Imreadingthisaloud I noticed the high torque that engine produces, plus, with the ultra low weight (-1000kg) of the lupo should bring a very good P.W.R. and an even better T.W.R. but what really dissapoint me is the width, I wonder those tyres are not width enough to take the proper advantage on turns that the low weight gives you, It would be unbeatable if the car is wider and more hp, Generally higher HP means higher top speed, (in the most of cases i ever see) more torque means better accel

@jnr1989 I find that to be true aswell, but light weight plus good torque it will be better out of a corner and better through the corner. Its a top contender for best 1.6 hatchback. But i would agree alot of the modern Euro hatches arent very competetive with the 90s JDM stuff, but i wudnt discount them. If you look back at the likes of Peugeot 205 1.9GTi etc, they follow the same trend as the lupo, light, loads of torque. The french hatches tend to be made from chocolate wrappers and glue...

@sprijic2 yes they are bzg is 5 sp and bzr is 6 with lsd not sure if bzg has lsd but more than likely has. beware of 6 speed syncro in 3rd gear!!!

Levin lights are 'crystal' clear, the Trueno lights have black casing around them giving them a smoked look.
