This is the very song that got me into them. Discovered it while listening to "Janelle Monáe radio" on last.fm. Its unconventional sound really stood out to me, and is still one of my favorites!
I dig this song. The progression and bass are fresh. Nice suspended chords. Cool vocals and a raw lo fi stylee drum pattern. This is hard. Theres more music in this world than what the mainstream radio dictates. There are special charms in Brooks productions. I hope they don't get bogged down by some fancy producers. This is honest and amazing.
