  • Lincolnlady85 . If I was going to be operated on I sure wouldnt want it to be during her time of the month. Its not a bigoted view. Just reality. Ask the airlines about how they schedule women pilots. It is what it is. Men r men, women r women and no one can ignore what God intended. If you want to weld go ahead and weld, but to put women up for these jobs when men are available is a slap in our faces and we're not taking it anymore. If men stopped buying Miller products they'd get the message.

  • My mother was "Rosie the Riverter" during WW2. Not because she wanted to. WE WERE AT WAR! When the men returned they took back their jobs and their rightful God given role. Women today play at these jobs and quickly get bored or tired of heavy manual labor. A manager with UPS told me that women drivers have injury rates 6X the men and need 4 times as many sick days. VERY FEW CAN KEEP UP WITH A MAN. The best man for the job is a MAN. Hire men for these jobs. They have a God Given right to them!

  • @Michael4yah

you know what I've been welding since I was a little girl. My dad taught me and I don't play at my job. In fact I take it pretty damn serious. Suppose you figure a woman doctor Plays at her job too?

  • If u close yer eyes and just listen to this vid, it sounds like the Kardashian girls talking about welding. The girl with short hair kept rambling her sentences with a high pitched squeaky voice. "....like its amaaazing, like women weldersssss,,, yummy, we're sooo gooood, like I think it's totally cool, like ya knooow, like amaaazing 'cause we're certified, like yeaaah,". Certified to what????? What standard???? Dumb.

  • Following on from Buck's comment. The women in the clip ought to check out the History channel sometime. WW1 and WW2 bought about great social change and inclusion of women in predominately male occupations - think munitions factories, shipyards, aircraft factories etc to free up men for conscription. I work at an edu institution. We've got female 'tradie' apprentices 17 year olds making crazy moola out at the mines. A lecturer quoted 49K Aud. About the same in USD. Thanks China!

  • As a man all I can say is: You go, girl's! I've been a TIG welder and fabricator for some of the most famous of USA's auto, bike and aircraft racing teams with my own specialty shop. . Women are a natural for TIG welding. Patient, steady and artistic. I reckon that the best "stack 'o dimes" will be done by a woman (if not already). Women were welders in WWII, "Wanda the Welder", and easily the equals of men. Good luck to all those of the fair sex who learn how to professionally weld.
