This is not the original opening. The original Kasumi clone naked in the fight scene. Also please film the intro better so I can see through the jello to the body. As I'm pretty sure you are supposed to be able to see her exposed breasts, but I can't in this video.

Sorry to ask this question but can you really unlock this intro in DOA 2: Hardcore for the ps2 USA version? I tried to unlock it but no new intro showed up, yet I hear people saying that this intro is in the game. Thanks.

ya, you can really unlock another version in DOA2H for PS2. it´s not the same like the dreamcast version, but it has the scene with the naked kasumi clon at 2:20

yeah, i know the realdemo trick. im not sure how it works, but it works. there is a way to unlock the intro (with naked kasumi clon) in DOA2H for PS2. sorry, i forgot how (it´s been a while)

Than start the game new and wait for the introp.. but press nothing befor !.. Than you see kasumi  nakced... Dude.. i did that with the age of 14 or something.. today its funny not more ^^..

Heck I still play this game from time to time just for fun. I had heard of this intro along time ago but always thought it was for the dreamcast or for the original version only. It wasn't till I read something in an old forum when I started the game again last year that I started to try it out. Thanks for everything again and take care.

Same here but sadly I never had a Xbox and I don't have a 360 so I never got to play with those :(. I thought on getting a 360 more than once but then realized that would have been a waste because I only like the DOA, Ninja Gaiden, and the Guilty Gear games. Also none of my friends have the game. But if the rumors are true Hayashi might release a collection for the PS3 or at least DOA 5 will be multi platform! ^_^

That's weird, that lag at the 2nd scene. But the intro for the Limited Editiogn is more or less the REALDEMO opening of the US Dreamcast opening, but with some video lag issues? Or is it the disk itself?

Either the dreamcast had issues reading the disc, or it was a bootleg. Bootleg dreamcast discs usually exhibit audio skipping, or FMV lag (like in this video), since the data wasn't written to the CD-R in the same way as it's written to a GD-ROM, with the result the drive had trouble sustaining a constant flow of information to the rest of the hardware.

The graphics for DOA2 on the Dreamcast compared to DOA2 Hardcore for the PS2 are extremely different. The Dreamcast version looks much more fine-tuned and detailed while the PS2 version looks very blocky and old. The Dreamcast version's graphics still hold out to this day.

Otherwise, good video and I hope a DOA5 is in the works.

A burned copy of doa2le is worthless since it takes forever to load and over stresses the laser. The intro plays fine on my mint condition real copy.

Well, my copy of the Limited Edition is a burnt copy. The original copy of the one that I have was possibly really scratched up. If you notice when Hayabusa is talking to Kasumi, it freezes up. Thus, the video kind of falls behind with the music. Though, I do like how the music stops, just in time to hear Ayane summon up some magic trick to killing Kasumi. Pretty cool.
