well, it is the distributed dream of all the computers taking part in the mathematical calculations for this program called electric sheep... but it sounded nicer to call it MY computer's dreams. :-)

achja: dein sheep ist das was alle computer zusammen an den sheepserver schicken und dort zusammengesetzt wird, und dann an alle sheep rechner geschickt wird. Das ergebnis wird dann allen gesendet, also ist dein sheep auch das von allen anderen, so wie ich das verstanden hab...

richtig. jeder computer berechnet an den schafen mit, insofern ist das der gemeinsame traum von allen computern. die reihenfolge der schafe ist aber - glaube ich - auf jedem client anders. aber falls du damit auf den namen anspielst: klingt halt schoener. ein traum ist es ja auch nicht, sondern eine berechnung, wenn man's genau nimmt. computer koennen nicht traeumen. also muesste es heissen: 'the distributed calculations of thousands of computers, visualized on my client' - klingt aber scheisse.

schon klar. mir wurde nur gestern die freude etwas eigedämmt als ich einem freund das programm geschickt hab und der dann die gleichen sheep hatte wie ich, ich hatte die erwartung, dass jeder pc sein eigenes sheep produziert und so, aber so lange es schön aussieht is das ja kein problem :)
