  • Ill shit....dude Mutch luve n made respect...

    Peace n luve

    Spaceman

  • hip hop should be simplistic, i liked that basics he had up there like the bassline and the `far away` sample but then i felt the guitar riff was too much and not called far ended sounding like some acid jazz tune rather then a hip hop beat. still good doh.

  • love these vibes

could bump my head to this all day

  • what the fuck... it must be around 10 thousand euros in hardware :S i wish i had all that shit :(

  • im tryin to get something like the guy is using in the video.the thing with the buttons on it.could somone tell me how much those things cost.

  • !!!So dope MusiC!!!

  • What is the last instrument he uses right before "the beat"

  • Looks like a fender rhodes

  • a kalimba

  • it's kalimba

  • thats a kalimba

  • It's a Marimba

  • it's called a thumb piano

  • what bass sounds is he using? They stand out without being too overbearing, just what I'm lookin for.

  • sounds like a wurli 206 or a fender rhodes ep

  • That's a hard rhodes mixed low..

  • it's just rhodes, but he played lower notes

  • we need more beats like this and hardware beats, better then all that lilipop software beats

  • I agree!!

  • true words, fam!!!

  • ha dope.

  • Vous Avez Vu un peu la séquence Bass avc la MPC c impressionant Comment il est rapide et intelligent! *_*

  • Feelin' this smooth mellow beat, keep it up man.

  • awesome !

  • dope! straight up hip hop-no noncense

  • how can you get that effect that he's using on the sample?! at 3:28.. kind of a fade in effect..

  • It sounds like a phaser or something.. Just mess around with effects until you get what you want

  • That's a lowpass filter. The actual fade is done by using an envelope with a high attack time. Imagine an envelope (or LFO) as a robot turning the knobs for you, so there's no difference between turning the cutoff knob up yourself like that or letting the envelope do it - it's just a lot more accurate when the envelope does it :).

  • Sounds like a low pass filter.

  • he changes the attack point of the sample
