But only you will ever enjoy the fact that you can play guitar hero. If you actually bother to learn the guitar (which takes years and years, btw, not months and months) you will at least be able to bring pleasure to other people. In the meantime, you will play guitar hero, kid yourself that it's kind of like being a musician, and then you'll drop it and you will not be one step closer to being able to play the instrument.

@nooseberg I started playing gh2 when I was younger, And I think it is a good start if you were thinking of playing guitar in the future. It also is a pretty good finger workout, especially if you want to play lead guitar, Since after all, You usually only play five frets at one time, except you play them in different areas of the guitar. So overall Guitar hero is not a complete waste of time.

when one of the notes are have a brighter white color then normal notes in the middle thats when a hammer on and pull of can be done but you must hit the note before that one to do it

I can't seem to get this game to work through parallels on my Mac, probably some glitch in openGL they haven't fixed yet. But who is that song "Fake it" "Look and Feel" and "How many words" by that come with the game? I'm mixing the guitar and song tracks together and putting them in my itunes as an mp3, but I'm having trouble viewing the data file for the artist.

This is like comparing Photoshop to The Gimp: They do the same and they work in a similar way, but they are completely different projects mantained by completely different people. Guitar Zero was canned, by the way, while Frets on Fire is still on development.

Guitar Zero would work with the keyboard if it was a mod, but it doesn't have keyboard support, it can only use the guitar hero controller or another controller. Stop trying to sound smart when you have the wrong facts.

well lets see you can use a USB converter to hook a PS2 or xbox controller (or a guitar controller) to a PC or 360 controller (or a guitar controller) up to a PC and there is something called frets of fire, plus if you can find them there is downloads to add all of the songs from all of the guitar heros to frets of fire, but i do not know if he used frets of fire.

I use hammer ons and pull offs as much as I can... and the webcam I use to record myself has a pretty bad framerate. If you look carefully you will see some movement in my thumb.

There are no cheats for Guitar Zero as far as I know.
