If he's not at the lumber mill, he's in his house, i had this problem too, he just sits on the single bed and eats bread now ._. , but his house it the one with the cow in front of it. And if he is dead, then you can pretty much go to any lumber mill in Skyrim. There is a lumber mill next to Katla's farm in front of solitude that works, or, you can chop wood then sell it too the lady who owns the bannerd mare in whiterun. Anyone who you sell wood too has unlimited gold for it. Good luck :)

or what you could do is go to dawnstar and do the invisible chest glitch. You get about 1000 gold every time you check the chest. I think you need to wait the usual 48 hours of in game time for the chest to restock. Also the higher the level your character the better quality of items in the chest

Just made my setup of a modded controller, a charger cable, a heavy weight and my school tie. I wrapped my school tie around the r1 button and wrapped my charger wire under my analouge stick and made it pull it back then stuck my heavy weight onto the wire so it doesnt loosen, setup complete, fuck loads of gold, here I come. Now I beleive its time for some TV and a well deserved sleep :D

Go to Game Options > Controls > Swap the "A" button (Activate button) to "RT". From there, if you have a modded controller, tape down the "Right Trigger" and the "Right Bumper" (Assuming you have already put the game sensitivity down on the lowest setting) Leave the game on overnight and check it when your done.

if tod is not coming out his house then this is what u should do.first make sure it morning,then go to were tod use to be and do his work, then go to the lumber pile then press A.after the log is on the thing,go by the lever and press A,after that find a campfire to sleep by,there is one that is like 20 feet away from the lumber pile,then sleep for 3 hours,after that go were tod is he should be their.thumb up this for people can c if they are having this same issue

Need money? Hunt dragons, in the same town I encountered three dragons over three days. Thats 7 bones (max of nine), multiply by 212, 1484 gold from the bones alone, and thats with my crappy haggling. And dragons are ridiculously easy to kill. And what could you possibly want that would require you to have that much gold? Almost nothing costs over 5000.
