i don't know how close your contact was, but in most european countries there is a gap between europeans and muslim immigrants. especially in paris, this gap is extremely large.
The gap is large among racists. Europeans may have invented racism. As someone married to a woman of color, I am not a racist. Therefore, I do not consider myself superior to Muslims. There was no gap between myself and the many Muslims I met in Amsterdam.
the transition between normal religion and religious fascism is fluent. christian brutality is common knowledge, but israel has also been a bad boy from time to time, although this topic is strongly tabooed, especially in germany.
a muslim rascal was amin al-husseini, formerly grand mufti of jerusalem. he and hitler made plans to exterminate the jews in the middle east and in the german waffen-ss were bosnian muslims as volunteers.
You appear to be an anti Muslim propagandist. Zionists attacked & mass murdered Muslims throughout the 1920's, 1930's, 1940's & 1950's. This disproportionate killing of Muslims continues to this day.
i had a lot to do with muslims. however, in how far those clichés take shape depends on the social background. those people you had to do with were probably not illiterate and also quite liberal.
in france, there is a feminist movement called "ni putes ni soumises" which was found because of violence and oppression of north african women.
the religion is not merely the problem, but rather the machismo of some people. men from macho cultures often have an inflated ego, because many are spoiled and treated like gods by their parents. in the outside world their huge egos become more and more instable, because school and job teaches them that they are limited beings.
in germany this "clash" is more a problem of the bad social background of some immigrants, who often live in their own archaic worlds where attributes like true manhood, pride and honour are everything.
The concept of clash of civilizations in its actual context was first developed by the Moroccan professor El Menjra. He published articles and a book about it but didnt do well with the book, then there was Samuel Huntington who made a book about the issue and it created much buzz. But Huntington himself refers to El Menjra as the first one to bring up the issue. Peace
The clash of civilisations is a real threat, that is mentioned in Daniel 11, the king of the South (Islamic nations) go against king of the North (Europe). This is for the end time (verse 40 -at the time of the end).
Are you suggesting we junk the Enlightenment, rational thought and science in favor of the Bible? You are a religious zealot or fundamentalist, are you not?
Actually, I don't think "Bush & his ilk" read books.
Part II - Francis Kukuyama has another suck up to the Power Elite who was dedicated to telling Power what it wanted to hear. Subsequent to America's lost war in Iraq, Fukuyama rejected the neo fascist right and his affiliation with the so called neo conservatives.
You equate the Bush administration's international relations philosophy with Huntington's theory of a civilization based world order. But Huntington wasn't a proponent of the clash, he just stated that it exists and will dominate the international relations arena, which it has.
I would say Bush and his ilk saw themselves as disciples of Fukuyama, who argued that democracy and westernization were the end-all. They thought they would merely be facilitating democracy's eventual arrival.
Part I - Your comment is appreciated. Yes, academics must pose as being describers, rather then proponents. The fact is Huntington has always been a mouthpiece for the Power Elite - see his bok "Crisis In Democracy" (1975) where he describes the ad hoc groups of the 1960's and 1970's ( civil rights, peace, womens issues, the McGovern candidacy, etc.) as being a bottleneck in the pipeline of progress (i.e. the agenda of the Power Elite).
Thanks for the thoughtful reply. Certainly Huntington's 2004 book "who are we" betrays his political leanings, and is an attempt to better prepare our "civilization" for the clash.
But I believe that you can't throw out the baby with the bath water. Huntington's conclusions are far from perfect, but his underlying theory seems to pass the smell test. Everyone points to the Islam/West clash as proof, but what about the way the Olympics reveled the West/Sinic Clash?
Actually, I don't think "Bush & his ilk" read books.
Part II - Francis Kukuyama has another suck up to the Power Elite who was dedicated to telling Power what it wanted to hear. Subsequent to America's lost war in Iraq, Fukuyama rejected the neo fascist right and his affiliation with the so called neo conservatives.
our religions only seem to clash when it suits our leaders I walk past people of all cultures and walks of life in the street and I have no desire to confront them and no feelings of hostility towards them.
Thanks for the comment. In 1991, at the end of the Soviet Union there was general agreement that the Defense Dep't budget would be cut in half. It was at that point that Samuel Huntington's book "Clash of Civilizations" was used to create the anti Muslim and anti Chinese attitudes in public opinion.
Leaders use academic hacks like Huntington to justify what they do. The people follow leaders like sheep follow the the pack.
Clash of Civilizations wasn't published until 1996 --the theory formulated 2 years earlier in a piece he wrote for a journal.
Also, I suppose all of that "anti-Muslim" sentiment culminated in US involvement in the Muslim Balkan states, or the strategic alliance we've maintained in places like Egypt or Pakistan. Most people prior to 9/11 didn't know enough about Islam to formulate a solid opinion. I would say that there is a similar relationship with China.
If anything, the popular sentiment in regards to China has just recently turned sour by many who view the human rights violations as unacceptable. Which is now a common point of view from both sides of the political spectrum. Even 4 years ago, this wasn't the case.
The Chinese Exclusion Act is but one measure of the anti Asian racism that has existed for over a century, dating back to the 19th century. Google it.
WW II (1040's) saw intense anti Japanese racism that continues to exist on the sleeve of many Americans. Japanese soldiers did not surrender was not because of a code of Bushido of devotion to the Emperor. Rather, it was because it was routine for US Army soldiers to routinely shoot Japanese soldiers, according to the History channel.
The Viet Nam war saw intense anti Asian racism with all Southeast Asians referred to as Gooks. America mass murdered somewhere between 4 & 5 million SE Asians.
The point is America is a racist state where racism is encouraged to allow Americans to commit war crimes (invasion, torture & mass murder) against people of color. Our troops refer to Muslims as Muzmuppets.
If you go to my NJ community web site, you can read a death threat I received addressed: "Dear Gook Lover."
Also, Huntington is no academic "hack." Yale, Harvard and Cambridge; serving on the NSC and having published multiple works in many reputable journals.
May I ask on what foundation do you have to refer to him as such.
In order to be an academic hack, one must be an academic who seeks to serve the Power Elite (see C. Wright Mills' book of the same name). Please read Huntington's 1975 book "Crisis In Democracy," in which he asserts the ad hoc grass roots groups of the 1960's were a bottleneck distracting us all from the important work the Power Elite wanted done. He takes the Kings shilling and serves the King.
Certainly Mayflower Huntington's 2004 Who Are We" betrays his WASP ethnocentrism (racism).
Why is Huntington a hack??? Are you serious? I'm going to go out on a limb here and say you either went to Harvard or no school at all.
First: Huntington broke down the world's population into 6 or 7 groups (he couldn't make up his mind as to whether Africa counted as a civilization) and said they would fight each other en mass. Problem is, what about countries that Huntington puts into the same group such as Iraq and Iran? 2 countries which couldn't hate each other more.
Next: The entire piece follows in the Orientalist tradition of such racist scholars as Bernard Lewis. No intellectual would call a man working under such vile prejudices an "academic"
Third: What the HELL does he mean when he says "clash"? He never defines this in his work. Well that's not true, he actually does. Problem is that he defines it first as any disagreement between nations and then turns right around and says it involves war and violence. There's no specificity to any of his points!
The urge to dominate is the worst property of a human being. This urge has mostly made a man wild than human. The globe now called the global village has always suffered destruction by this process. Whether you call it a clash of civilizations or religions or dividing mankind into various groups. Whichever group of human beings thinks he has gained power starts dominating the others and this is the worst terrorism on the globe, the most hateful action of man & must be stopped at all cost.
LOLOL...so the CFR and the Bilderbergers (i.e. the Jews) are actually running the world? You had me fooled in your other video, I actually thought you might be an intelligent liberal. Just another mindless kook (or closet Muslim) following the latest CT drama.
You are dissembling. Who mentioned the CFR and the Bilderberg Group? By the wat the Bilderberg Group does not contain Jews, as you claim. It is another "elite" WASP operation. As to Liberals, I view them as far worse then fascists. While I am 100% Irish and an Irish citizen with an Irish passport, I consider it a compliment to be viewed as a Muslim. The Muslims I met while living in Holland for 8 years were men of fine character. What is a CT drama?
I wonder if Theo Van Gogh shares your opinion of the "fine Muslims?" I think Geert Wilders has a more accurate perspective of the "religion of peace."
You confuse individuals and your ethnic stereotype (racism). Theo van Gogh was a state supported G-man murdered by the state, in my opinion.
Wilders is a plain vanilla racist fascist. Please remember, Dutch NAZIs welcomed the German army and identified Jews and set up concentration camps in Holland. Dutch fascism has a long recent history. Mrs Hogan and I ran the only English language newspaper in Holland at the time(mid 90's). We wrote about Dutch fascism and were on TV and in newspapers.
You allege to have spent time in the Netherlands, but claim Van Gogh was state supported, but later eliminated by the state? Let me guess, it was really the Jews who killed Van Gogh. You will fit in very well with the fringe conspiracy theorists here in the USA.
Reagrding Wilders, how dare the man use actual words from the old Koran and the various raving mullahs. How racist to assume to words mean something, and then use their actions to back up his "racist" arguments.
You keep bringing up the Jews. Are you an anti Semite, in addition to being anti Muslim?
Mrs Hogan and I spent 8 years in Holland and can easily prove this. Why do you communicate with me if you don't believe me and don't trust me? I don't get it.
Again, Americans routinely seek to marginalize and discredit rather then simply have a conversation. I knew state agents who worked with van Gogh. In my opinion, van Gogh was killed to stir up anti Muslim feeling. In your case, they succeeded.
My original post to you was very polite, agreed with some of your message, offered constructive criticism and YOU opted to insult me. When it became apparent I was going to respond in kind, you now repeat mindless mantras about Americans.
I agree with you that Van Gogh was confrontational, but that was his style. He was confrontational with almost every group that came upon his radar. My point is that only the Islamists responded with a horrific murder.
The Christian record of mass murder far exceeds any Muslim horrors. Americans routinely ignore our record of war crimes and mass murder. Rather then attack Muslims, I suggest you clean up your own mass murder backyard.
I see, two wrongs make a right. Let's go back to the Crusades and the Inquisition to justify Islamic violence. As I mentally peruse the war crime of the past century, I find I find Muslims (Armenia), Atheists (Stalin), Christians (Germany) Atheists (China), Muslims and Atheists (Nigeria), Atheists (Cambodia), Muslims (Iraq), and Muslims and Animists (Somalia). See any very common denominators?
You are incorrect to say the Chinese, and Cambodians are atheists. The Chinese are very serious about Buddhism, as are Cambodians. Do you disparage Buddhism? My Chinese family are Buddhist.
No, I don't see any common denominators. What I do see is the 7 War Crimes (invasions) America has committed since I was 21. I am not including America's many assassinations and coup d'etats.
You ignore America's mass murders. Are you an American? If so, why don't you take an interest in your back yard?
I am well aware of the spiritual orientation of MOST Chinese and Cambodians. My wife happens to be from Asia, and we have been there frequently. However, those responsible for the genocides in question, the Red Chinese and Khmer Rouge were atheists.
American war crimes....lol...can't wait to see this list.
Why do you have trouble understanding a Communist can be religious? Irish patriot James Larkin was both a Communist and a Catholic. In fact, Lenin asked Larkin about it. Ireland would not be a Nation Once Again if it had not been for Marxists like James Connolly.
I am well aware of the fact that many Commies do not follow Marxist theological dogma. However, given the treatment of virtually every theology including Buddhists in Maoist China, especially during the Hundred Flowers Campaign and the Cultural Revolution, I find it hard to believe that either Mao or his right-hand man of the CR were Buddhists.
You don't understand Buddhist ancestor worship. It's the core of the Chinese culture. All Chinese are into it. As to Mao and others at the top of the Communist Party, we will need to resurrect them to know.
The ancestral worship is certainly present, as I recall, it goes back to ancient China. However, be honest...if you HAD to bet on whether Mao had ANY Buddhist leanings, your money would be on my side.
My uncle was the biggest bookmaker in Ireland - Alf Hogan. I would bet Mao Tze Tung and Chou En Lai were as much a part of their culture as any other Chinese.
A part of the culture, yes, Buddhist, come on now. You are dancing away from the question. You might be able to convince me Chou had a scintilla of a conscience, but certainly not Mao, or his key henchman of the CR, Lin Biao. Surprised to find an American who knows his Commies?
You are missing the point. As a chemistry major, I don't expect you to understand social psychology. The most ardent communist is a puppet of his culture. Buddhism is at the core of the Chinese culture and my bet is the hierarchy of the communist party was and is Buddhist. In any case, it is you who danced away from your original position that all Chinese were and are atheists (racism).
Again, you really need to work on reading comprehension. I never stated all Chinese were atheists. Mao and the head of his Cultural Revolution were atheists.
This is what you wrote earlier 7 hours ago - see above:
"As I mentally peruse the war crime of the past century, I find I find Muslims (Armenia), Atheists (Stalin), Christians (Germany) Atheists (China),"
You clearly labeled all Chinese atheists. Your racist thing is understandable. Those with weak egos need the psychic benefit of superiority. This is what social psychologists tell us.
Hmmm..I was not terribly consistent. I should have placed Mao in parenthesis, not China. OK, my bad. See, those of us who are truly intelligent readily admit to our mistakes, we are not so insecure as to creatively interpret posts, or change the topic.
If you define racism as exposing terrorists and mass murderers for their deeds, then I proudly add racist to my resume along with war criminal and redneck.
An example of your racism is your referring to Muslims as Musmuppets. American racism supports the American Imperial agenda. Racists are eager to attack the other.
What do you have against Communists? Mau Tze Tung and Chou En Lai were and remain nationalists and patriots who freed the Chinese people from western imperial domination that had persistently degraded China and denuded China of all dignity. Now China rules!
As to the Cultural Revolution, it was propaganda much as America propagandizes it's people. In fact, MIT Professor Noam Chomsky writes America is the most propagandized country to have existed - "Manufacturing Conscent" 1989, Pantheon Press.
Yeah, Mao was wonderful. The only debate on Mao's legacy was did he slaughter 15 million or 40 million people. Combined with his pedophilia, he was one fine man.
So now a man whose ignorance of economics and military science is playing amateur Sinologist?
How and when did Mao mass murder so many? Please be specific. What sources can you site for your claim? There have always been floods and famines in all countries, but one cannot say the leader of the time personally slaughtered people. I would characterize the Great Leap Forward as an economic mistake, much like America's Great Depression.
What biography contains evidence of Mao's pedophilia? Your church's main occupation is the mass rape of little boys on all continents.
My knowledge of China is based on the testimoney of America's foremost China experts before Chairman William J. Fullbright's Senate Foreign Relations Committee in February 1966. Both Harvard's Professor John K Fairbanks and Columbia Professor A. Doak Barnett testified China, in it's 5000 year history, never exceeded it's borders to invade another country.
Both said Tibet has always been part of China. This historical fact is lost in todays history by Richard Gere and the propaganda mill.
Forty year old testimony by two Commie apologists from academia is your basis? Have you ever tried searching this thing called the Net for more timely information? Since the Cultural Revolution did not begin until mid 1966, even a learned (lol) professor would not have any information about the mass murders that occured during the CR.
John K Fairbanks taught at Harvard and A. Doak Barnett taught at Columbia & Johns Hopkins. Are you saying these institutions are commie organizations. Do you use the red brush on all who disagree with you? What have you got against commies?
The two testified about the American propaganda called the Domino Theory to say China had not exceeded it's borders in it's 5000 year history. They said Tibet has always been part of China.
I know of no mass murders during the CR. Do you? Sources?
I guess using your reasoning skills, Kim Philby and Alrich Ames had to be innocent, after all, they worked for MI-5 and the CIA respectfully. Do you see how childish your argument have become?
If you would like to learn about the CR good primers would be Death By Government by Rudy Rummel. You could then check out Merle Goldman, an uberliberal who has come to terms with Mao.
I find it curious I have never mentioned Tibet, yet you can't wait to defend the Red Chinks.
You lost me. What point are you attempting to make with your Philby & Ames example? Try to stay on the topic at hand.
Rather then take time out to read Rummel & Goldman, please offer readers a synopsis of their claims of "intentional" mass murders by Mao during the CR. That is the issue at hand. I am eager to learn.
The term "Chinks" is a racist expletive. My Chinese wife would kick your ass, if you were here. I was offering you the knowledge of China experts about a current topic in the news.
Sorry, that analogy might escape someone not military oriented. You attempted to defend the objectivity of Fairbanks and Barnett by citing their employers. Ergo, by that standard Ames and Philby (two Commie spies) could not have been guilty since they were employed by MI-5 and the CIA.
LOL...my half-Chinese wife does not like that word as well. However, I always use it to describe Commies, or any Chinese who hates Americ. Dehumanizing the enemy is a very effective tool.
So, you believe Harvard, Columbia and Johns Hopkins hires commies. OK, I can dig that.
Your Chinese wife made a mistake. My wife wouldn't live with an anti Asian racist. It must be hell for her. Please give her my sincere sympathy. My heart goes out to her. I have heard of high maintenance husbands, but you set an entirely new standard.
Americans are very good at dehumanizing themselves. I see no humanity in you. You are completely alienated from yourself. Seek help from other then a priest.
You might want to peruse the Harvard faculty list, I found three Commies in no time, and I guess the name Paul Sweezy does not ring a bell. Have you ever been near a college campus? Honestly??
I am very low maintenance, leave my golf budget alone, and do not disturb me during a NASCAR event and I am the easiet guy in New York to live with. My wif is half Chinese and half Filipino.
How can you tell if a Harvard professor is a commie? Really, I need to know. What is the test? Sight? Smell? Please don't claim you read books. No, I never heard of Paul Sweezy. Is he a Harvard Commie? What Commie type things has he done or written? I am greatly encouraged by your investigative work. Truman and McCarthy would admire your work.
Was your wife raised in America? No American wife would take your racism.
Hoag, you need to learn how to use a search engine.
No, my wife was raised in HK and Cebu. She finds me very easy to live with, except when the race is on, or we are traveling abroad. She really gets embarrassed when I conduct a MoHAMmed test prior to boarding a flight.
Only when traveling abroad. However, I can be dressed up and taken to many events without embarrassment. Provided I am not forced to attend the ballet, opera, or a boring play where I cannot bring my I-Pod, I can pull off a very convincing performance of being cultured and urbane.
In other words, you are split or what psychiatrists and philosophers refer to as alienated. You might want to view my YouTube vide entitled "Existentialism and Pragmatism" to better understand alienation. It's about inauthenticity. You have an inability to be authentic. You have adopted a false personna - the Ugly American. Keep it up.
No, I just happen to find pissing off pseudointellectuals and quasieducated cretins who do not like Americans to be highly amusing. Hoag, you are the one who hides behind this inane psychobabble while I simply present the facts, and my beliefs openly and honestly.
Noone on this end is pissed off. In your stated goal, you are not succeeding. You are the one who claimed to be an intellectual early on. I have never described myself as such. I would have the temerity to do so. Whose hiding? I use my real name and you can easily find me. It is you who hides behind a pseudonym and a false personna. You appear to be projecting yourself onto me again. You can't help it. 90% of communication is projection.
Why do you assume that YOU are a pseudointellectual or quasieducated cretin? I was referring to the rifraff I have run into traveling. Interesting inference you made.
Good Lord you parrot the Communist line better than anyone I have encountered. Yeah, when you collectivize all the land, famines tend to occur, especially when you busy executing those who had farmed the land. I suppose the millions Stalin starved in the Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia were also due to randon floods and famines.
Mao's pedophilia was documented by HIS OWN PERSONAL PHYSICIAN. I see we have returned to liberal illogic whereby two wrongs make a right.
What have you against Marxists, Socialists & Communists? Most countries have such Marxist parties as part of their governments.
China's famines resulted form westher, an extremely large population & poverty. I know of no cases of Chinese farmers being executed. Please provide sources.
Yes, Stalin did intentionally stave 15 million Ukranians to death, while the NY Times told America all was well.
One anecdote by a book peddler is not sufficient proof. Catholicism condones mass rape.
What have I got against Marxism? Nothing, excpet perhaps, for the fact that maxist economics has been thoroughly discredited by any objective standard, and Marxism has probably been responsible for more deaths than other cause in the 20th century. Perhaps that was ommitted from your copy of The Little Red Book.
LOL...so Mao's own personal physician is not a believeable source? You know Hoagie, for some who constantly demands sources, you provide precious few of your own.
If you watch my YouTube video Karl Marx - The Man and His Mitzvah, I state the man was not a credible economist - with one exception. The unequal distribution of income causes big problems. All economists agree.
Modern Marxism is about the need for a mixed economy. Friedmanites could care less about the toll on ordinary people brought on by your icons policies.
Certainly Stalin was no Marxist. He was a mass murderer. Where else were do you see Marxist murders? Europe? More then America?
OMG...Hogan makes an objective observation. There is still hope for mankind! I would submit that an unequal distribtion of income, coupled with an inability for individuals to remedy that inequality would be an issue ALL economists would agree on.
Where else do I see Marxist murders? In the past forty years let's visit Red China, Cambodia, Cuba, North Korea, Zimbabwe, and Somalia off the top of my head.
You are an economic illiterate. Marx noted capitalism contains it's own destruction. As the income distribution continues to go from the poor and middle class to the rich, total demand is reduced and there are recessions and depressions. If the divide becomes great enough counties implode.
A century before Marx Jean Jacques Rousseau noted governments are created by the rich to steal from the poor. This is what Liberals and Conservatives do today.
Capitalism, in one form or another has been going strong for over 400 years. Marxism bit the dust in less than a century, yet you are quoting an abject failure. What next, citing Hitler on How To Fight Anti-Semitism, Josef Stalin on Agrarian Reform or perhaps MoHAMmed on Peace in Religion.
Spain has a Marxist Prime Minister. Chile, Venezuela, Equador, Cuba, Viet Nam, China, Brazil are led by Marxists. A Mexican Marxist had the election stolen recently. Holland third largest party is Marxist. France's second largest party is Marxist. A German Marxist party is growing fast according to the WSJ. Italy continues to have Marxist parties.
In short most of the world seems to be moving toward Marxism of one sort or another. You are in denial. Get a grip.
Marvelous, Third World shitholes find Marxism appealing. I suspect Geert Wilders will take care of the Dutch, and in case you missed the results, France elected a pro-American conservative, as did Germany. I give you an "A" for optimism, but a "C-" for content.
You are getting upset and it's affecting your reading ability. I said Germany has a fast growing Communist Party (Die Linke) that will be the key to the upcoming coalition that will replace the current conservative Prime Minister according to the March 10th Wall Street Journal.
I wrote that the Socialist Party is the second largest party in France. Your writing off Marxist Parties is somewhat premature.
By the way, why do you consider superior countries shitholes? What's up with that?
Brazil and Cuba may be superior to Zimbabwe, but since we are discussing America, and only Britain and Australia can claim to be in America's league, I fail to see your point.
I am discussing the world. You are the American xenophobe, nativist. Honestly where have you lived (I don't mean the tourist thing) besides America? Is your experience set one country - America? Cuba and Brazil are wonderful countries.
Never permanently resided outside America. Brazil may indeed be a fine place, the nation certainly has potential. Cuba is a pathetic shithole. I have friends who served on Gitmo, and know a couple of local peacepukes who actually visited the place. Trust me, anyplace where people set rafts on shark-infested waters to leave is not a great place to live, unless your name is Castro.
Have you ever seen a documentary about Cuba? It's beautiful country with fine folks that have what no American has - solidarity with each other. such solidarity has allowed the Cuban people to step up to American Imperial bullying in the form of a trade embargo. Cuban medical care is far superior to America's Bullshit health care system. Check the statistics on the supply of doctors, early childhood deaths and longevity. While the AMA limits the supply of doctors, Cuba supplies the world.
I vaguely recall some show several years ago, I believe it was on PBS. Cuba is a pathetic little basket case, that will not achieve anything until they rid their island of the Castro regime. Instead of relying upon a community college dropout for your information on Cuba's health care system, read some of Cuban physician Dr. Dessy Mendoza Rivero's reports on the system.
You parrot the capitalist Imperial line beautifully. You are so well behaved. Why did you ever leave the military. You would be a general by now with a monster pension waiting for all such welfare Queens.
Hoag, you should be able to answer that question all by yourself. As a good capitalist running dog, I realized that opportunities in the post-Gulf War Army were very limited.
This is not the debating team at Stuyvesant HS. Actually, I meant it as a compliment and you misunderstood. It takes flunkies to do well in any of America's bureaucracies. Hierarchies demand flunkies genuflect to power. Your flunkiness is a tribute to your upbringing and education.
I am still waiting for the synopsis of Mao's mass murders based on the two books you claim to have read.
Let me get this straight, you enjoy watching cars go round and round for hours on end and you enjoy following a little white ball around for hours on end. Is that it? Do you ahve a pet?
Not only watching the cars go around, but simultaneously listening to the driver, crew chief and spotter, decide on race strategy car adjustments, and tracking the sppeds of each driver on every lap thatnks to NASCAR trackpass. It is actually, the most intellectual spectator sport in the world.
Yeah, when age ended my hockey and softball days, golf was next. Awesome sport, but don't try it unless you are quite coordinated.
So, you can't play hockey and baseball anymore old man. Your testosterone has drained away. You simply sit with your hate to keep you company. We should write a play about you and your hate. Your hate is your alter ego. It could be a one act job; like "Waiting for Godot."
No I can't. Annual trips to the ER were getting ridiculous. That is why I switched to golf. Actually, today will probably be the last day I have for playing this silly game until it rains.
Ouch, sorry to hear that. Be careful, I had a head injury several years ago, and it is my understanding that some CAT scans can miss even moderate concussions. Do Not Phuck with a head injury.
I have presented many sources and you Red Bait them all - Harvard, Columbia, Johns Hopkins. Which of my statements do you need sources for? You become a Red Bait bore throwback.
We agree Stalin was a mass murderer equal to Hitler or Bush. Aside from Stalin, who I do not consider to be a Marxist (rather a Fascist dictator much like Bush), what Marxist mass murderers are you talking about. I am eager to agree with any accurate portrayals of mass murder by any political persuasion.
Hoag, two uberliberals from forty plus years ago is not exactly a lenghty treatise of sources.
However, let's move on. Along with Stalin, I would certainly add Mao, Kim Il-Sung and Kim DingDong or whatever Brillohead's name is, Pol Pot, Robert Mugabe, Fidel Castro, and the whack job who ran Somalia into the ground whose name currently escapes me.
I asked you which statements of mine you need sources for? We agree Stalin was a mass murderer. Again, please tell me when and where Mao intentionally mass murdered? While many died of famine in N Korea, when and where did N Korea intentionally mass murder? Pol Pot was not a Marxist and America's mass murder of Cambodians set the stage for Pol Pot's rise to power. Chomsky covers this ground well. Mugabe is not a Marxist. He is a fascist. Castro shot a few counter revolutionaries. Mass murder?
LOLOL...poor old Noam is trying to cover his ass because Ben Kiernan, John Barron, Anthony Paul, and Francois Ponchaud exposed him as a fraud and tool of the Marxists. Pol Pot was a proud Marxist, and his results were predictable. Steven Talbot and many other respected writers agree that Mugabe came to power as a committed Marxist.
Regarding Castro, I find it ironic that the FRENCH authors of The Black Book of Communism document over 14,000 murders by firing squad alone.
Noam always stated he is an anarcho syndicalist. That is a tyoe of Marxist. He didn't need to be exposed. He was proud to be a Marxist. Although he has become typical middle class asshole in old age.
I will accept your research on Pol Pot and Mugabe. There are insane Marxist mass murderers (Stalin) as there are insane mass murdering capitalists (GB I, Clinton & GB II).
As to Castro, executing counter revolutionaries was his duty. I doubt the number is that high but they were scum, in any case
It was North Viet Namese Communists who fought and died to defeat Pol Pot. American pusseys were not up for the fight. There wasn't any oil in Cambodia.
LOL@American pussies. We were undefeated in any battle in Vietnam, ask the gooks from Khe Sahn, Hue or La Drang. I am sorry you are such a bitter, old and unhappy man.
Col Larry Summers (or Sommers)wrote the definitive military history of the Viet Nan War. He says America was soundly defeated militarily. Check him out on Google. He doesn't seem unhappy. Your age discrimination fits well with your racism. Most Americans share your hatred of the elderly. Mrs H says it's about kids like yourself hating their parents for not giving them the gelt. Holland was a pleasure in that regard - no hate and certainly no hatred of the most mature among us.
If the American army wasn't defeated worse then any French defeat, why did the army surrender and leave? I don't get it. You and the rest of the Viet Nam War Hawks can't accept defeat. You live in complete denial. Sigmund Freud would be worried your reptilian brain has taken over your thought process. You are thinking like a reptile. That is not an Ad Hominum attack. It's an analysis by one who cares deeply about his brother.
The army surrendered?? What was the date and the city? You must have access to a very special history book. All this time and you still cannot name one, JUST ONE frigging battle where the US of A was defeated by the gooks. There is a good reason for your failure, it never happened.
Nixon & Kissinger surrendered because the army was busy killing (fragging) it's officer corps. The army was in a full fledged mutiny. I expect the army in Iraq to mutiny soon. Winning wars isn't an accumulation of battles. The ending is all that counts. The NVA inflicted to much pain (body counts){over 50,000 uS dead} for the army to continue fighting. To continue the army would have looked like Hitler's at the end - old men and children.
What pathetic little history books do loony old men read? We killed over 1.1 million gook troops, both NVA and Viet Cong. If numbers alone told the truth, they would have been done in 1969. If it is the end that counts, perhaps you might to consider that America had turned over the fight to the ARVN long before the end. Really sucks when the truth interrupts one of your delusional rants.
You are the one in denial about many historical realities. Nixon & K surrendered because they didn't want to put in another million US troops and face a lynch mob at the White House. By leaving the South to fight alone the US deserted President Thieu. It would have been bad PR to stick aroud for the NVA tanks rolling into Saigon. Like it or not, this is jokingly referred to as democracy. Try reading Stanley Karnow's history of the VN war. Is he a commie too. Is Col Summers a commie?
I knew Walter was a commie stooge. Now you have verified this as fact. He has that commie look in his eye. Why are Americans so easily dupped by the commies?
I didn't know Comrade Walter wrote a column. Was he syndicated in many newspapers? Let me understand. Is anyone who disagrees with American propaganda a commie? This way I will be vigilant and on the lookout. I thought the commie thing was old hat. Are they still a menace? Should I join the John Birch Society?
Yeah, he was nationally syndicated, and had a decent following in the late 80s/early 90s as I recall. No, someone who deliberately slants the news and in doing so results in the deaths of American soldiers should have been fired. Actually, you might find yourself in good company at a Birch group. They seem to be playing the New World Order/ CFR game recently.
Shouldn't you be out golfing or watching cars speed round and round on such a beautiful day. Why spend time with an old man when you have a wife and golfing buddies who agree with you? I don't get it. Middle class boredom is a bitch.
So Noam Chomsky is not radical enough for you? Wow, you are really way out there. Placing American presidents on the same moral plane as Stalin, Mao, and Pol Pot requires a degree of mental masturbation possessed only by die-hard American-haters.
OK, you didn't like my referring to the Bushes and Clinton as scumbag mass murderers. Let me try another approach. Johnson & Nixon mass murdered 4 million Southeast Asians and destroyed their gene structure for eternity. Certainly, that puts American presidents in a league with Hitler and Stalin. Please note I am trying to be fair - holding both Liberals and Fascists responsible.
When Nixon & Johnson died I bought dancing shoes and danced with joy. Now, sadly, Bush has made me miss them.
Whether I liked it or not is irrelevant, the fact is that you made a ludicrous assertion. Both Bush's responded to Islamic aggression, and taught the primitive savages not to screw with America. clinton was constantly appesing all your friends, I would expect you to love Bubba.
We can agree Nixon and Johnson were useless. Johnson failed to permit his generals to fight, and hobbled our economy with the wasteful war on poverty.
The Twin Towers job was a simple crime by the CIA (or other US G-men) and/or the Mossad). It should have been properly investigated by the NYPD. instead of being covered up. The cover up goes on. It certainly wasn't pulled off by any nation state. Do you accept Iraq had absolutely nothing to do with the TT job? WE wasted $3 trillion according to Professor Joseph Stiglitz of Columbia and a Harvard professor. Afganistan did not attack America. The TV propaganda says it was Saudis & Paki CIA.
LOLOL...aren't the Trilateral Commission and Freemasons also involved? Everyone but radical Muzmuppets was responsible. Of course Afghanistan or Binny the Caveman are poor innocent dupoes of the CIA and Mossad. The Taliban were peace-loving people who simply wanted a little more religion in their lives. Getting a tad senile these days?
Binny is the CIA's man, absolutely. He was their man in Afgahistan against the Russians and he is the CIA's man today. America opened an air corridor to let him and other Al Queda fighters fly to Pakistan. The Taiban and Iraq had nothing to do with the TT job. It was the Saudis & Saudi money funneled thru the Pakistan CIA. Why didn't GB bomb his Saudi & Paki friends? That might have made some semblance od sense. GB wanted AF for an oil pipeline from the Caspian Sea and he wanted Iraq oil.
I the case of your war crime, you fought so Arab potentates could continue to steal Iraqi oil (slant drilling). The US induced the war when the US ambassador to IRAQ April Gillespie told Saddam we had no strategic interest in defending Kuwait. This was in July 1990 just before Saddam attacked. A high State Dep't official also testified before Congres in July 1990 saying the same. It was a green light for Saddam. It was none of our business. You defended an English may that - Kuwait from Iraq.
Saddam was the aggrieved party? This megalomaniacal savage was broke from his attempt to conquer Iran. This lower form of life, who worshipped Hitler and Stalin, had grandeurs of becoming the new Saladin.
If you believe he was planning to stop at Kuwait, you make Neville Chamberlain look pessimistic. Gillespie was fully grilled before a the Senate, and even the CommieLibs had to concede she was not at fault.
You put your life at risk for lowlife Arab sheiks in Kuwait & Saudi Arabia. Are you saying these sheiks are morally superior to Saddam? Didn't you fight foe the Koran you detest? Why should any American care who runs the mideast?
I would suggest your average hyena was moraally superior to the Saddam clan. Saddam Hussein was responsible for the deaths of more Muslims in the 2oth century than any other man. We (the West) have unfortunately placed ourselves in the position where we cannot allow a psychotic lunatic to control 50% of the world's oil.
So, is Saddam more psychotic then American presidents or America's Arab or Israeli allies? Isn't Saddam a commie too.
So, in your Imperial propaganda the US owns Arab oil and the US decides to steal Arab oil. You make the US to be common thieves. In this we agree. Now we are getting somewhere. Do you wish to retract your accusation that you fought to steal Arab oil? Or, are you a proud thief. Imperial theft was learned from your English buddies. They invented the game. Churchill = psychosis.
I like the Israelis. The IDF is awesome, and the Merkva is one hell of a tank. We have never stolen an Arab Oil. We pay market prices for every barrel we export. We merely need to ensure the free flow of oil at market prices for the world economy to prosper. Preventing, by force if necessary, a delusional mass murderer from gaining control of half of this resource is in the strategic interests of the USA.
We paid one dollar a barrel for 80 years. Are you saying that was not theft? Are you saying America's proposed Oil Law for Iraq is not theft? It's all about distribution and the currency used to pay for the oil. Saddam signed contracts to sell the Iraqi people's oil to the French (Total) and the Russians (Lukoil) and be paid in Euros. Imperial America invaded Iraq for Chevron. The plans were laid out in the cabinet room 7 months before 9/11 according to Treasury secretary Paul O'Neill's book.
That was the market price for many years. The old contracts in iraq were not valid, they were made by a govt that no longer exists. What kind of man would prefer the Iraqis have to live with a Hitler-wannabbe?
You are misquoting O'Neill. Every administration since the Gulf War had an attack plan for Iraq on the table, ready to go. that is what a professional military does, plan for every likely contingency.
You have not read O'Neill. He was fired for being honest with the bully boy (GB).
You have not read accounts of how well the Iraqi people lived under Saddam written by professional anthropologists. It was the most advanced democratic Arab state in the mideast.
I would agree. Upon assumption of power, Saddam managed to move Iraq forward quite rapidly. His was a relatively secular govt, although dominated by his Tikrit tribe. Education, industrialization and commerce grew rapidly.
However, rapid improvement does not satisfy a megalomaniac. Realizing he needed more money to achieve his Pan-Arab dreams, he decided to take the oil of Western iran. overestimating his islamic "warriors" he went broke fighting another Islamic shithole.
Hussein attacked Iran at the behest of his American allies. America used Iraq to try to defeat the mullahs who threw out the American puppet Shah. I know of no oil in westwern Iran.
The majority of iran's oil is in Khuzistan, located right next to Iraq. Iraq was the ally of the Soviet Union. Do you really believe any of this silly pablum you type?
The only thing next to Iraq in Iran are mountains. I believe you are wrong about Iraq being an ally of the Communists because Hussein and the Baath Party mass murdered all Communists in Iraq to become a favored ally of America. Donald Rumsfeld came to Kowtow to Hussein in the 1970's. It was all filmed by Mexican TV. Rumsfeld is seen bowing to Hussein as he shakes his mit.
Read a map. Khuzistan is located in SW Iran. Your recollection of this war is even worse than WWII. Rumsfeld met with Saddam in 83, long after the war had begun. There was no bow, Saddam was simply given some satellite intelligence.
Your admitting to Rummy kissing Saddam's ass is progress. Now we are getting somewhere. Thanks for your honesty.
Check out the Mexican TV film clip. Rummy is seen kowtowing to Saddam. Why does it matter? Hussein was America's ally for 20 years as Binny has been for 20 years. America is always allied with the worst scumbags - Saudi sheiks, Paki Generals, Egypt's Mubarack and the Kuwati lowlifes you fought for.
You admit you lied or were incredibly ignorant about when the meeting occurred. If the meeting occurred when you claimed, then one could make the case America had involvement in the war. Since you are so frigging clueless as to not only be off by four to seven years, but your error covers two separate administrations, even using YOUR OWN arguments, PROVES MY CASE. Thank you Hoagie.
When the ring kissing ceremony took place is irrelevant. Rummy kissed Saddam's ass as an ally. I inadvertently put it in the Carter era and should have known Rummy is was a Republican stooge working for Iran/ Contra treason Reagan. RR was the only President to pull off a coup against his own Presidency.
LOL..however, placing it long before the start of the Iran-Iraq war makes your argument plausible, when I corrected you, it reinforces my argument. Furthermore, if you analyze Iraqi armament imports during the war, you will find the Soviet Union provided 60%, the French around 20%, and the USA around 2% or less.
The conclusion is obvious, you are busted, your argument is bogus, and you cannot cite and facts to prove your case.
What argument are you making. I can't follow your ranting. Lay it out. Do you deny Saddam Hussein was an ally of America? Is that your point?
Hussein bought weapons from those suppliers he thought had the best arms and deals. He was a good shopper. The critical element was the satellite photos you agree America gave him. This was the key element in his ability to battle a much larger foe.
Throughout your "dialogue" you have referred to America's victims as "savages." After thinking about it, you are correct. The Viet Namese are savage fighters with the best army in the world, having destroyed the armies of China (twice), Japan, France & America. This tiny country is undefeated on their home court. It is a lesson America will never learn. The home court advantage in war is real.
So it is in Iraq. American Imperialists are so racist they automatically think the white boys win.
We were undefeated against the gooks, and crushed Iraq in 3 weeks. I know it is humiliating for your side to be so pathetic, but that is what happens when you side with Muzmuppets.
Now, Now dear; you are getting angry. Your purpose is to get me angry and you appear to be losing your cool and the argument, as well. The Viet Namese army is undefeated in war (while you remian in a dreamlike denial).
If Iraq was crushed, why is the American army in ruins hiding in the Green Zone being mortared and rocketed every day as regularly as rain. It is only a matter of time until America turns tail and withdraws.
Losing my cool? I am having a marvelous time laughing at you. You are providing a great deal of amusement to many people. We routinely patrol wherever we wish in Iraq. I am afraid your compatriots are creating an alternative universe you find very satisfying, and will believe anything they tell you.
The American army is hiding hunkered down in the green zone and barracks around Iraq afraid to come out to be destroyed. A known Communist writing for a Communist newspaper (Frank Rich of the NY Times 4/6/08 {p.14}) states: "The Baghdad Green Zone, pummeled with lethal firepower, proved vulnerable once again. Basra remains so perilous ---"
Where can we find some red blooded American reporting to support your thesis America is winning or even your assertion America's army is on patrol? Help me
So you now rely on the ex-food critic for military expertise?? You obviouslky have never served, Frank Rich...lol. Even The Economist, a liberal Brit magazine reported last month from Basra, and Fallujah regarding the progress. You need to find a topic that you can comprehend.
There are absolutely no American or British forces in Basra. They will not dare to go there. I see that as real progress - getting rid of the Brits. There is a Shiite war going on and the government forces surrendered their weapons rather then fire on their Arab brothers.
In the end, only an American draft and a one million man American army can save the day. There will be chaos in the streets ala 1970 (Kent State). Those were the days my friends, we thought they would never end.
You conveniently ignore the fact that American troops have not been in Basra for several years, and the brits turned the city over to the Iraqi govt, shortly after runding Mookie Al-Sadr fleeing for his cowardly life.
The story sure changes when ALL the relevant facts are added. Like I said, you have really lost all your credibility on this issue. Perhaps you could find a subject in whcih you have even a rudimentary education?
What's the difference between members of Congress and NASCAR drivers?

i don't know how close your contact was, but in most european countries there is a gap between europeans and muslim immigrants. especially in paris, this gap is extremely large.
puddingkatapult 2 years ago
The gap is large among racists. Europeans may have invented racism. As someone married to a woman of color, I am not a racist. Therefore, I do not consider myself superior to Muslims. There was no gap between myself and the many Muslims I met in Amsterdam.

the transition between normal religion and religious fascism is fluent. christian brutality is common knowledge, but israel has also been a bad boy from time to time, although this topic is strongly tabooed, especially in germany.
a muslim rascal was amin al-husseini, formerly grand mufti of jerusalem. he and hitler made plans to exterminate the jews in the middle east and in the german waffen-ss were bosnian muslims as volunteers.
puddingkatapult 2 years ago
You appear to be an anti Muslim propagandist. Zionists attacked & mass murdered Muslims throughout the 1920's, 1930's, 1940's & 1950's. This disproportionate killing of Muslims continues to this day.
See my video entitled Palestinian Holocaust.

'Europeans may have invented racism.'
that itself reflects on a racist attitude on your own race or simply utter ignorance. No one 'invented' racism. It exists in every culture.

i had a lot to do with muslims. however, in how far those clichés take shape depends on the social background. those people you had to do with were probably not illiterate and also quite liberal.
in france, there is a feminist movement called "ni putes ni soumises" which was found because of violence and oppression of north african women.

In Amsterdam Holland, I lived in a ghetto for foreigners called the Bijlmermeer. I came to know poor Turks, Morrocans, Surinamers, etc.
"Violence and oppression" of women happens routinely in America and other western nations.

the religion is not merely the problem, but rather the machismo of some people. men from macho cultures often have an inflated ego, because many are spoiled and treated like gods by their parents. in the outside world their huge egos become more and more instable, because school and job teaches them that they are limited beings.

Are you PROJECTING Western machismo onto Muslims?

in germany this "clash" is more a problem of the bad social background of some immigrants, who often live in their own archaic worlds where attributes like true manhood, pride and honour are everything.

Peace

On the contrary, I think it takes a certain kind of educated elite to make such profoundly stupid decisions and be able to sleep at night.
inthegaddadavida 3 years ago
You equate the Bush administration's international relations philosophy with Huntington's theory of a civilization based world order. But Huntington wasn't a proponent of the clash, he just stated that it exists and will dominate the international relations arena, which it has.
I would say Bush and his ilk saw themselves as disciples of Fukuyama, who argued that democracy and westernization were the end-all. They thought they would merely be facilitating democracy's eventual arrival.
inthegaddadavida 3 years ago
Part I - Your comment is appreciated. Yes, academics must pose as being describers, rather then proponents. The fact is Huntington has always been a mouthpiece for the Power Elite - see his bok "Crisis In Democracy" (1975) where he describes the ad hoc groups of the 1960's and 1970's ( civil rights, peace, womens issues, the McGovern candidacy, etc.) as being a bottleneck in the pipeline of progress (i.e. the agenda of the Power Elite).
radiohogan 3 years ago
Thanks for the thoughtful reply. Certainly Huntington's 2004 book "who are we" betrays his political leanings, and is an attempt to better prepare our "civilization" for the clash.
But I believe that you can't throw out the baby with the bath water. Huntington's conclusions are far from perfect, but his underlying theory seems to pass the smell test. Everyone points to the Islam/West clash as proof, but what about the way the Olympics reveled the West/Sinic Clash?

our religions only seem to clash when it suits our leaders I walk past people of all cultures and walks of life in the street and I have no desire to confront them and no feelings of hostility towards them.

The people follow leaders like sheep follow the the pack.
radiohogan 3 years ago
Right on, guy.
Scottyblack 3 years ago
If anything, the popular sentiment in regards to China has just recently turned sour by many who view the human rights violations as unacceptable. Which is now a common point of view from both sides of the political spectrum. Even 4 years ago, this wasn't the case.
Scottyblack 3 years ago
Part I
The Chinese Exclusion Act is but one measure of the anti Asian racism that has existed for over a century, dating back to the 19th century. Google it.
WW II (1040's) saw intense anti Japanese racism that continues to exist on the sleeve of many Americans. Japanese soldiers did not surrender was not because of a code of Bushido of devotion to the Emperor. Rather, it was because it was routine for US Army soldiers to routinely shoot Japanese soldiers, according to the History channel.
radiohogan 3 years ago
Part II

Scottyblack 3 years ago
In order to be an academic hack, one must be an academic who seeks to serve the Power Elite (see C. Wright Mills' book of the same name). Please read Huntington's 1975 book "Crisis In Democracy," in which he asserts the ad hoc grass roots groups of the 1960's were a bottleneck distracting us all from the important work the Power Elite wanted done. He takes the Kings shilling and serves the King.
Certainly Mayflower Huntington's 2004 Who Are We" betrays his WASP ethnocentrism (racism).
radiohogan 3 years ago
Why is Huntington a hack??? Are you serious? I'm going to go out on a limb here and say you either went to Harvard or no school at all.
First: Huntington broke down the world's population into 6 or 7 groups (he couldn't make up his mind as to whether Africa counted as a civilization) and said they would fight each other en mass. Problem is, what about countries that Huntington puts into the same group such as Iraq and Iran? 2 countries which couldn't hate each other more.
ncxcrnnr 3 years ago
Next: The entire piece follows in the Orientalist tradition of such racist scholars as Bernard Lewis. No intellectual would call a man working under such vile prejudices an "academic"
Third: What the HELL does he mean when he says "clash"? He never defines this in his work. Well that's not true, he actually does. Problem is that he defines it first as any disagreement between nations and then turns right around and says it involves war and violence. There's no specificity to any of his points!
ncxcrnnr 3 years ago

Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
You are dissembling. Who mentioned the CFR and the Bilderberg Group? By the wat the Bilderberg Group does not contain Jews, as you claim. It is another "elite" WASP operation. As to Liberals, I view them as far worse then fascists. While I am 100% Irish and an Irish citizen with an Irish passport, I consider it a compliment to be viewed as a Muslim. The Muslims I met while living in Holland for 8 years were men of fine character. What is a CT drama?
radiohogan 3 years ago
I wonder if Theo Van Gogh shares your opinion of the "fine Muslims?" I think Geert Wilders has a more accurate perspective of the "religion of peace."
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
You confuse individuals and your ethnic stereotype (racism). Theo van Gogh was a state supported G-man murdered by the state, in my opinion.
Wilders is a plain vanilla racist fascist. Please remember, Dutch NAZIs welcomed the German army and identified Jews and set up concentration camps in Holland. Dutch fascism has a long recent history. Mrs Hogan and I ran the only English language newspaper in Holland at the time(mid 90's). We wrote about Dutch fascism and were on TV and in newspapers.
radiohogan 3 years ago
You allege to have spent time in the Netherlands, but claim Van Gogh was state supported, but later eliminated by the state? Let me guess, it was really the Jews who killed Van Gogh. You will fit in very well with the fringe conspiracy theorists here in the USA.
Reagrding Wilders, how dare the man use actual words from the old Koran and the various raving mullahs. How racist to assume to words mean something, and then use their actions to back up his "racist" arguments.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
You keep bringing up the Jews. Are you an anti Semite, in addition to being anti Muslim?
Mrs Hogan and I spent 8 years in Holland and can easily prove this. Why do you communicate with me if you don't believe me and don't trust me? I don't get it.
Again, Americans routinely seek to marginalize and discredit rather then simply have a conversation. I knew state agents who worked with van Gogh. In my opinion, van Gogh was killed to stir up anti Muslim feeling. In your case, they succeeded.
radiohogan 3 years ago
My original post to you was very polite, agreed with some of your message, offered constructive criticism and YOU opted to insult me. When it became apparent I was going to respond in kind, you now repeat mindless mantras about Americans.
I agree with you that Van Gogh was confrontational, but that was his style. He was confrontational with almost every group that came upon his radar. My point is that only the Islamists responded with a horrific murder.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
The Christian record of mass murder far exceeds any Muslim horrors. Americans routinely ignore our record of war crimes and mass murder. Rather then attack Muslims, I suggest you clean up your own mass murder backyard.
radiohogan 3 years ago
I see, two wrongs make a right. Let's go back to the Crusades and the Inquisition to justify Islamic violence. As I mentally peruse the war crime of the past century, I find I find Muslims (Armenia), Atheists (Stalin), Christians (Germany) Atheists (China), Muslims and Atheists (Nigeria), Atheists (Cambodia), Muslims (Iraq), and Muslims and Animists (Somalia). See any very common denominators?
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
You are incorrect to say the Chinese, and Cambodians are atheists. The Chinese are very serious about Buddhism, as are Cambodians. Do you disparage Buddhism? My Chinese family are Buddhist.
No, I don't see any common denominators. What I do see is the 7 War Crimes (invasions) America has committed since I was 21. I am not including America's many assassinations and coup d'etats.
You ignore America's mass murders. Are you an American? If so, why don't you take an interest in your back yard?
radiohogan 3 years ago
I am well aware of the spiritual orientation of MOST Chinese and Cambodians. My wife happens to be from Asia, and we have been there frequently. However, those responsible for the genocides in question, the Red Chinese and Khmer Rouge were atheists.

Why do you have trouble understanding a Communist can be religious? Irish patriot James Larkin was both a Communist and a Catholic. In fact, Lenin asked Larkin about it. Ireland would not be a Nation Once Again if it had not been for Marxists like James Connolly.
radiohogan 3 years ago
I am well aware of the fact that many Commies do not follow Marxist theological dogma. However, given the treatment of virtually every theology including Buddhists in Maoist China, especially during the Hundred Flowers Campaign and the Cultural Revolution, I find it hard to believe that either Mao or his right-hand man of the CR were Buddhists.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
You don't understand Buddhist ancestor worship. It's the core of the Chinese culture. All Chinese are into it. As to Mao and others at the top of the Communist Party, we will need to resurrect them to know.
radiohogan 3 years ago
The ancestral worship is certainly present, as I recall, it goes back to ancient China. However, be honest...if you HAD to bet on whether Mao had ANY Buddhist leanings, your money would be on my side.

My uncle was the biggest bookmaker in Ireland - Alf Hogan. I would bet Mao Tze Tung and Chou En Lai were as much a part of their culture as any other Chinese.
radiohogan 3 years ago
A part of the culture, yes, Buddhist, come on now. You are dancing away from the question. You might be able to convince me Chou had a scintilla of a conscience, but certainly not Mao, or his key henchman of the CR, Lin Biao. Surprised to find an American who knows his Commies?
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
You are missing the point. As a chemistry major, I don't expect you to understand social psychology. The most ardent communist is a puppet of his culture. Buddhism is at the core of the Chinese culture and my bet is the hierarchy of the communist party was and is Buddhist. In any case, it is you who danced away from your original position that all Chinese were and are atheists (racism).
radiohogan 3 years ago
Again, you really need to work on reading comprehension. I never stated all Chinese were atheists. Mao and the head of his Cultural Revolution were atheists.

This is what you wrote earlier 7 hours ago - see above:
"As I mentally peruse the war crime of the past century, I find I find Muslims (Armenia), Atheists (Stalin), Christians (Germany) Atheists (China),"
You clearly labeled all Chinese atheists. Your racist thing is understandable. Those with weak egos need the psychic benefit of superiority. This is what social psychologists tell us.
radiohogan 3 years ago
Hmmm..I was not terribly consistent. I should have placed Mao in parenthesis, not China. OK, my bad. See, those of us who are truly intelligent readily admit to our mistakes, we are not so insecure as to creatively interpret posts, or change the topic.

If you define racism as exposing terrorists and mass murderers for their deeds, then I proudly add racist to my resume along with war criminal and redneck.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
An example of your racism is your referring to Muslims as Musmuppets. American racism supports the American Imperial agenda. Racists are eager to attack the other.
radiohogan 3 years ago
What do you have against Communists? Mau Tze Tung and Chou En Lai were and remain nationalists and patriots who freed the Chinese people from western imperial domination that had persistently degraded China and denuded China of all dignity. Now China rules!
As to the Cultural Revolution, it was propaganda much as America propagandizes it's people. In fact, MIT Professor Noam Chomsky writes America is the most propagandized country to have existed - "Manufacturing Conscent" 1989, Pantheon Press.
radiohogan 3 years ago
Yeah, Mao was wonderful. The only debate on Mao's legacy was did he slaughter 15 million or 40 million people. Combined with his pedophilia, he was one fine man.
So now a man whose ignorance of economics and military science is playing amateur Sinologist?
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
How and when did Mao mass murder so many? Please be specific. What sources can you site for your claim? There have always been floods and famines in all countries, but one cannot say the leader of the time personally slaughtered people. I would characterize the Great Leap Forward as an economic mistake, much like America's Great Depression.
What biography contains evidence of Mao's pedophilia? Your church's main occupation is the mass rape of little boys on all continents.
radiohogan 3 years ago
My knowledge of China is based on the testimoney of America's foremost China experts before Chairman William J. Fullbright's Senate Foreign Relations Committee in February 1966. Both Harvard's Professor John K Fairbanks and Columbia Professor A. Doak Barnett testified China, in it's 5000 year history, never exceeded it's borders to invade another country.
Both said Tibet has always been part of China. This historical fact is lost in todays history by Richard Gere and the propaganda mill.
radiohogan 3 years ago
Forty year old testimony by two Commie apologists from academia is your basis? Have you ever tried searching this thing called the Net for more timely information? Since the Cultural Revolution did not begin until mid 1966, even a learned (lol) professor would not have any information about the mass murders that occured during the CR.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
John K Fairbanks taught at Harvard and A. Doak Barnett taught at Columbia & Johns Hopkins. Are you saying these institutions are commie organizations. Do you use the red brush on all who disagree with you? What have you got against commies?
The two testified about the American propaganda called the Domino Theory to say China had not exceeded it's borders in it's 5000 year history. They said Tibet has always been part of China.
I know of no mass murders during the CR. Do you? Sources?
radiohogan 3 years ago
I guess using your reasoning skills, Kim Philby and Alrich Ames had to be innocent, after all, they worked for MI-5 and the CIA respectfully. Do you see how childish your argument have become?
If you would like to learn about the CR good primers would be Death By Government by Rudy Rummel. You could then check out Merle Goldman, an uberliberal who has come to terms with Mao.
I find it curious I have never mentioned Tibet, yet you can't wait to defend the Red Chinks.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
You lost me. What point are you attempting to make with your Philby & Ames example? Try to stay on the topic at hand.
Rather then take time out to read Rummel & Goldman, please offer readers a synopsis of their claims of "intentional" mass murders by Mao during the CR. That is the issue at hand. I am eager to learn.
The term "Chinks" is a racist expletive. My Chinese wife would kick your ass, if you were here. I was offering you the knowledge of China experts about a current topic in the news.
radiohogan 3 years ago
Sorry, that analogy might escape someone not military oriented. You attempted to defend the objectivity of Fairbanks and Barnett by citing their employers. Ergo, by that standard Ames and Philby (two Commie spies) could not have been guilty since they were employed by MI-5 and the CIA.
LOL...my half-Chinese wife does not like that word as well. However, I always use it to describe Commies, or any Chinese who hates Americ. Dehumanizing the enemy is a very effective tool.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
So, you believe Harvard, Columbia and Johns Hopkins hires commies. OK, I can dig that.
Your Chinese wife made a mistake. My wife wouldn't live with an anti Asian racist. It must be hell for her. Please give her my sincere sympathy. My heart goes out to her. I have heard of high maintenance husbands, but you set an entirely new standard.
Americans are very good at dehumanizing themselves. I see no humanity in you. You are completely alienated from yourself. Seek help from other then a priest.
radiohogan 3 years ago
You might want to peruse the Harvard faculty list, I found three Commies in no time, and I guess the name Paul Sweezy does not ring a bell. Have you ever been near a college campus? Honestly??
I am very low maintenance, leave my golf budget alone, and do not disturb me during a NASCAR event and I am the easiet guy in New York to live with. My wif is half Chinese and half Filipino.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
How can you tell if a Harvard professor is a commie? Really, I need to know. What is the test? Sight? Smell? Please don't claim you read books. No, I never heard of Paul Sweezy. Is he a Harvard Commie? What Commie type things has he done or written? I am greatly encouraged by your investigative work. Truman and McCarthy would admire your work.
Was your wife raised in America? No American wife would take your racism.
radiohogan 3 years ago
Hoag, you need to learn how to use a search engine.
No, my wife was raised in HK and Cebu. She finds me very easy to live with, except when the race is on, or we are traveling abroad. She really gets embarrassed when I conduct a MoHAMmed test prior to boarding a flight.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
I would prefer to hear it from your wife. I can believe she finds you a social embarrassment.
radiohogan 3 years ago
Only when traveling abroad. However, I can be dressed up and taken to many events without embarrassment. Provided I am not forced to attend the ballet, opera, or a boring play where I cannot bring my I-Pod, I can pull off a very convincing performance of being cultured and urbane.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
In other words, you are split or what psychiatrists and philosophers refer to as alienated. You might want to view my YouTube vide entitled "Existentialism and Pragmatism" to better understand alienation. It's about inauthenticity. You have an inability to be authentic. You have adopted a false personna - the Ugly American. Keep it up.
radiohogan 3 years ago
No, I just happen to find pissing off pseudointellectuals and quasieducated cretins who do not like Americans to be highly amusing. Hoag, you are the one who hides behind this inane psychobabble while I simply present the facts, and my beliefs openly and honestly.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
Noone on this end is pissed off. In your stated goal, you are not succeeding. You are the one who claimed to be an intellectual early on. I have never described myself as such. I would have the temerity to do so. Whose hiding? I use my real name and you can easily find me. It is you who hides behind a pseudonym and a false personna. You appear to be projecting yourself onto me again. You can't help it. 90% of communication is projection.
radiohogan 3 years ago
Why do you assume that YOU are a pseudointellectual or quasieducated cretin? I was referring to the rifraff I have run into traveling. Interesting inference you made.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
What are you referring to? Help me out. What's up?
radiohogan 3 years ago
Good Lord you parrot the Communist line better than anyone I have encountered. Yeah, when you collectivize all the land, famines tend to occur, especially when you busy executing those who had farmed the land. I suppose the millions Stalin starved in the Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia were also due to randon floods and famines.
Mao's pedophilia was documented by HIS OWN PERSONAL PHYSICIAN. I see we have returned to liberal illogic whereby two wrongs make a right.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
What have you against Marxists, Socialists & Communists? Most countries have such Marxist parties as part of their governments.
China's famines resulted form westher, an extremely large population & poverty. I know of no cases of Chinese farmers being executed. Please provide sources.
Yes, Stalin did intentionally stave 15 million Ukranians to death, while the NY Times told America all was well.
One anecdote by a book peddler is not sufficient proof. Catholicism condones mass rape.
radiohogan 3 years ago
What have I got against Marxism? Nothing, excpet perhaps, for the fact that maxist economics has been thoroughly discredited by any objective standard, and Marxism has probably been responsible for more deaths than other cause in the 20th century. Perhaps that was ommitted from your copy of The Little Red Book.
LOL...so Mao's own personal physician is not a believeable source? You know Hoagie, for some who constantly demands sources, you provide precious few of your own.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
If you watch my YouTube video Karl Marx - The Man and His Mitzvah, I state the man was not a credible economist - with one exception. The unequal distribution of income causes big problems. All economists agree.
Modern Marxism is about the need for a mixed economy. Friedmanites could care less about the toll on ordinary people brought on by your icons policies.
Certainly Stalin was no Marxist. He was a mass murderer. Where else were do you see Marxist murders? Europe? More then America?
radiohogan 3 years ago
OMG...Hogan makes an objective observation. There is still hope for mankind! I would submit that an unequal distribtion of income, coupled with an inability for individuals to remedy that inequality would be an issue ALL economists would agree on.
Where else do I see Marxist murders? In the past forty years let's visit Red China, Cambodia, Cuba, North Korea, Zimbabwe, and Somalia off the top of my head.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
You are an economic illiterate. Marx noted capitalism contains it's own destruction. As the income distribution continues to go from the poor and middle class to the rich, total demand is reduced and there are recessions and depressions. If the divide becomes great enough counties implode.
A century before Marx Jean Jacques Rousseau noted governments are created by the rich to steal from the poor. This is what Liberals and Conservatives do today.
radiohogan 3 years ago
Capitalism, in one form or another has been going strong for over 400 years. Marxism bit the dust in less than a century, yet you are quoting an abject failure. What next, citing Hitler on How To Fight Anti-Semitism, Josef Stalin on Agrarian Reform or perhaps MoHAMmed on Peace in Religion.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
Spain has a Marxist Prime Minister. Chile, Venezuela, Equador, Cuba, Viet Nam, China, Brazil are led by Marxists. A Mexican Marxist had the election stolen recently. Holland third largest party is Marxist. France's second largest party is Marxist. A German Marxist party is growing fast according to the WSJ. Italy continues to have Marxist parties.
In short most of the world seems to be moving toward Marxism of one sort or another. You are in denial. Get a grip.
radiohogan 3 years ago
Marvelous, Third World shitholes find Marxism appealing. I suspect Geert Wilders will take care of the Dutch, and in case you missed the results, France elected a pro-American conservative, as did Germany. I give you an "A" for optimism, but a "C-" for content.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
You are getting upset and it's affecting your reading ability. I said Germany has a fast growing Communist Party (Die Linke) that will be the key to the upcoming coalition that will replace the current conservative Prime Minister according to the March 10th Wall Street Journal.
I wrote that the Socialist Party is the second largest party in France. Your writing off Marxist Parties is somewhat premature.
By the way, why do you consider superior countries shitholes? What's up with that?
radiohogan 3 years ago
Brazil and Cuba may be superior to Zimbabwe, but since we are discussing America, and only Britain and Australia can claim to be in America's league, I fail to see your point.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
I am discussing the world. You are the American xenophobe, nativist. Honestly where have you lived (I don't mean the tourist thing) besides America? Is your experience set one country - America? Cuba and Brazil are wonderful countries.
radiohogan 3 years ago
Never permanently resided outside America. Brazil may indeed be a fine place, the nation certainly has potential. Cuba is a pathetic shithole. I have friends who served on Gitmo, and know a couple of local peacepukes who actually visited the place. Trust me, anyplace where people set rafts on shark-infested waters to leave is not a great place to live, unless your name is Castro.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
Have you ever seen a documentary about Cuba? It's beautiful country with fine folks that have what no American has - solidarity with each other. such solidarity has allowed the Cuban people to step up to American Imperial bullying in the form of a trade embargo. Cuban medical care is far superior to America's Bullshit health care system. Check the statistics on the supply of doctors, early childhood deaths and longevity. While the AMA limits the supply of doctors, Cuba supplies the world.
radiohogan 3 years ago
I vaguely recall some show several years ago, I believe it was on PBS. Cuba is a pathetic little basket case, that will not achieve anything until they rid their island of the Castro regime. Instead of relying upon a community college dropout for your information on Cuba's health care system, read some of Cuban physician Dr. Dessy Mendoza Rivero's reports on the system.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
You parrot the capitalist Imperial line beautifully. You are so well behaved. Why did you ever leave the military. You would be a general by now with a monster pension waiting for all such welfare Queens.
radiohogan 3 years ago
Hoag, you should be able to answer that question all by yourself. As a good capitalist running dog, I realized that opportunities in the post-Gulf War Army were very limited.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
You blew a fine opportunity. Flunkies do so well in the any army. Your willingness to genuflect to authority would have impressed the brass.
radiohogan 3 years ago
The ad hominem attacks are beginning to flow. Typical response of a defeated Commie.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
This is not the debating team at Stuyvesant HS. Actually, I meant it as a compliment and you misunderstood. It takes flunkies to do well in any of America's bureaucracies. Hierarchies demand flunkies genuflect to power. Your flunkiness is a tribute to your upbringing and education.
radiohogan 3 years ago
I am still waiting for the synopsis of Mao's mass murders based on the two books you claim to have read.
Let me get this straight, you enjoy watching cars go round and round for hours on end and you enjoy following a little white ball around for hours on end. Is that it? Do you ahve a pet?
radiohogan 3 years ago
Not only watching the cars go around, but simultaneously listening to the driver, crew chief and spotter, decide on race strategy car adjustments, and tracking the sppeds of each driver on every lap thatnks to NASCAR trackpass. It is actually, the most intellectual spectator sport in the world.
Yeah, when age ended my hockey and softball days, golf was next. Awesome sport, but don't try it unless you are quite coordinated.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
There you go with the intellectual thing again. It sounds like a spectator sport for simpletons. Ideal for Americans.
radiohogan 3 years ago
Sparky, I claimed I was intelligent, not an intellectual. Have you considered investing in a dictionary?
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
I have seen no evidence that would indicate you have any intelligence? You seem disabled.
radiohogan 3 years ago
So, you can't play hockey and baseball anymore old man. Your testosterone has drained away. You simply sit with your hate to keep you company. We should write a play about you and your hate. Your hate is your alter ego. It could be a one act job; like "Waiting for Godot."
radiohogan 3 years ago
No I can't. Annual trips to the ER were getting ridiculous. That is why I switched to golf. Actually, today will probably be the last day I have for playing this silly game until it rains.
WTF is Godot?
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
I was in the ER two days ago after driving my head into the end of the pool while swimming. The cat scan says I am OK, but I have my doubts.
radiohogan 3 years ago
Ouch, sorry to hear that. Be careful, I had a head injury several years ago, and it is my understanding that some CAT scans can miss even moderate concussions. Do Not Phuck with a head injury.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
Those parties aint marxist they're democratic socialistic!?!
FcK2420 2 years ago
I have presented many sources and you Red Bait them all - Harvard, Columbia, Johns Hopkins. Which of my statements do you need sources for? You become a Red Bait bore throwback.
We agree Stalin was a mass murderer equal to Hitler or Bush. Aside from Stalin, who I do not consider to be a Marxist (rather a Fascist dictator much like Bush), what Marxist mass murderers are you talking about. I am eager to agree with any accurate portrayals of mass murder by any political persuasion.
radiohogan 3 years ago
Hoag, two uberliberals from forty plus years ago is not exactly a lenghty treatise of sources.
However, let's move on. Along with Stalin, I would certainly add Mao, Kim Il-Sung and Kim DingDong or whatever Brillohead's name is, Pol Pot, Robert Mugabe, Fidel Castro, and the whack job who ran Somalia into the ground whose name currently escapes me.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
I asked you which statements of mine you need sources for? We agree Stalin was a mass murderer. Again, please tell me when and where Mao intentionally mass murdered? While many died of famine in N Korea, when and where did N Korea intentionally mass murder? Pol Pot was not a Marxist and America's mass murder of Cambodians set the stage for Pol Pot's rise to power. Chomsky covers this ground well. Mugabe is not a Marxist. He is a fascist. Castro shot a few counter revolutionaries. Mass murder?
radiohogan 3 years ago
LOLOL...poor old Noam is trying to cover his ass because Ben Kiernan, John Barron, Anthony Paul, and Francois Ponchaud exposed him as a fraud and tool of the Marxists. Pol Pot was a proud Marxist, and his results were predictable. Steven Talbot and many other respected writers agree that Mugabe came to power as a committed Marxist.
Regarding Castro, I find it ironic that the FRENCH authors of The Black Book of Communism document over 14,000 murders by firing squad alone.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
Noam always stated he is an anarcho syndicalist. That is a tyoe of Marxist. He didn't need to be exposed. He was proud to be a Marxist. Although he has become typical middle class asshole in old age.
I will accept your research on Pol Pot and Mugabe. There are insane Marxist mass murderers (Stalin) as there are insane mass murdering capitalists (GB I, Clinton & GB II).
As to Castro, executing counter revolutionaries was his duty. I doubt the number is that high but they were scum, in any case
radiohogan 3 years ago
It was North Viet Namese Communists who fought and died to defeat Pol Pot. American pusseys were not up for the fight. There wasn't any oil in Cambodia.
radiohogan 3 years ago
LOL@American pussies. We were undefeated in any battle in Vietnam, ask the gooks from Khe Sahn, Hue or La Drang. I am sorry you are such a bitter, old and unhappy man.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
Col Larry Summers (or Sommers)wrote the definitive military history of the Viet Nan War. He says America was soundly defeated militarily. Check him out on Google. He doesn't seem unhappy. Your age discrimination fits well with your racism. Most Americans share your hatred of the elderly. Mrs H says it's about kids like yourself hating their parents for not giving them the gelt. Holland was a pleasure in that regard - no hate and certainly no hatred of the most mature among us.
radiohogan 3 years ago
Did you mean Larry Winters?
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
No, Summers or Sommers; I never heard of Larry Winters. However, I did dig the great Jonathan Winters. He was a CIA agent.
radiohogan 3 years ago
The name is Col. Harry G. Summers and he wrote: "On Strategy: A Critical Analysis of the Viet Nam War," 1982. He taught at West Point.
radiohogan 3 years ago
If the American army wasn't defeated worse then any French defeat, why did the army surrender and leave? I don't get it. You and the rest of the Viet Nam War Hawks can't accept defeat. You live in complete denial. Sigmund Freud would be worried your reptilian brain has taken over your thought process. You are thinking like a reptile. That is not an Ad Hominum attack. It's an analysis by one who cares deeply about his brother.
radiohogan 3 years ago
The army surrendered?? What was the date and the city? You must have access to a very special history book. All this time and you still cannot name one, JUST ONE frigging battle where the US of A was defeated by the gooks. There is a good reason for your failure, it never happened.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
Nixon & Kissinger surrendered because the army was busy killing (fragging) it's officer corps. The army was in a full fledged mutiny. I expect the army in Iraq to mutiny soon. Winning wars isn't an accumulation of battles. The ending is all that counts. The NVA inflicted to much pain (body counts){over 50,000 uS dead} for the army to continue fighting. To continue the army would have looked like Hitler's at the end - old men and children.
radiohogan 3 years ago
What pathetic little history books do loony old men read? We killed over 1.1 million gook troops, both NVA and Viet Cong. If numbers alone told the truth, they would have been done in 1969. If it is the end that counts, perhaps you might to consider that America had turned over the fight to the ARVN long before the end. Really sucks when the truth interrupts one of your delusional rants.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
You are the one in denial about many historical realities. Nixon & K surrendered because they didn't want to put in another million US troops and face a lynch mob at the White House. By leaving the South to fight alone the US deserted President Thieu. It would have been bad PR to stick aroud for the NVA tanks rolling into Saigon. Like it or not, this is jokingly referred to as democracy. Try reading Stanley Karnow's history of the VN war. Is he a commie too. Is Col Summers a commie?
radiohogan 3 years ago
The war became unwinnable when Comrade Cronkite decided to launch a propaganda campaign designed to turn American public support against the war.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
I knew Walter was a commie stooge. Now you have verified this as fact. He has that commie look in his eye. Why are Americans so easily dupped by the commies?
radiohogan 3 years ago
One only needs to read Commisar Cronkite's column to realize that many of his musings could have come from the Politburo of the 70s and 80s.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
I didn't know Comrade Walter wrote a column. Was he syndicated in many newspapers? Let me understand. Is anyone who disagrees with American propaganda a commie? This way I will be vigilant and on the lookout. I thought the commie thing was old hat. Are they still a menace? Should I join the John Birch Society?
radiohogan 3 years ago
Yeah, he was nationally syndicated, and had a decent following in the late 80s/early 90s as I recall. No, someone who deliberately slants the news and in doing so results in the deaths of American soldiers should have been fired. Actually, you might find yourself in good company at a Birch group. They seem to be playing the New World Order/ CFR game recently.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
Shouldn't you be out golfing or watching cars speed round and round on such a beautiful day. Why spend time with an old man when you have a wife and golfing buddies who agree with you? I don't get it. Middle class boredom is a bitch.
radiohogan 3 years ago
Tomorrow is Demo Day at the one of the local golf ranges and the NASCAR race comes on at 3.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
I gave up TV 6 days ago.
radiohogan 3 years ago
So Noam Chomsky is not radical enough for you? Wow, you are really way out there. Placing American presidents on the same moral plane as Stalin, Mao, and Pol Pot requires a degree of mental masturbation possessed only by die-hard American-haters.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
You are projecting your hate onto me again. Why not figure out why and who you hate?
radiohogan 3 years ago
OK, you didn't like my referring to the Bushes and Clinton as scumbag mass murderers. Let me try another approach. Johnson & Nixon mass murdered 4 million Southeast Asians and destroyed their gene structure for eternity. Certainly, that puts American presidents in a league with Hitler and Stalin. Please note I am trying to be fair - holding both Liberals and Fascists responsible.
When Nixon & Johnson died I bought dancing shoes and danced with joy. Now, sadly, Bush has made me miss them.
radiohogan 3 years ago
Whether I liked it or not is irrelevant, the fact is that you made a ludicrous assertion. Both Bush's responded to Islamic aggression, and taught the primitive savages not to screw with America. clinton was constantly appesing all your friends, I would expect you to love Bubba.
We can agree Nixon and Johnson were useless. Johnson failed to permit his generals to fight, and hobbled our economy with the wasteful war on poverty.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
The Twin Towers job was a simple crime by the CIA (or other US G-men) and/or the Mossad). It should have been properly investigated by the NYPD. instead of being covered up. The cover up goes on. It certainly wasn't pulled off by any nation state. Do you accept Iraq had absolutely nothing to do with the TT job? WE wasted $3 trillion according to Professor Joseph Stiglitz of Columbia and a Harvard professor. Afganistan did not attack America. The TV propaganda says it was Saudis & Paki CIA.
radiohogan 3 years ago
LOLOL...aren't the Trilateral Commission and Freemasons also involved? Everyone but radical Muzmuppets was responsible. Of course Afghanistan or Binny the Caveman are poor innocent dupoes of the CIA and Mossad. The Taliban were peace-loving people who simply wanted a little more religion in their lives. Getting a tad senile these days?
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
Binny is the CIA's man, absolutely. He was their man in Afgahistan against the Russians and he is the CIA's man today. America opened an air corridor to let him and other Al Queda fighters fly to Pakistan. The Taiban and Iraq had nothing to do with the TT job. It was the Saudis & Saudi money funneled thru the Pakistan CIA. Why didn't GB bomb his Saudi & Paki friends? That might have made some semblance od sense. GB wanted AF for an oil pipeline from the Caspian Sea and he wanted Iraq oil.
radiohogan 3 years ago
I the case of your war crime, you fought so Arab potentates could continue to steal Iraqi oil (slant drilling). The US induced the war when the US ambassador to IRAQ April Gillespie told Saddam we had no strategic interest in defending Kuwait. This was in July 1990 just before Saddam attacked. A high State Dep't official also testified before Congres in July 1990 saying the same. It was a green light for Saddam. It was none of our business. You defended an English may that - Kuwait from Iraq.
radiohogan 3 years ago
Saddam was the aggrieved party? This megalomaniacal savage was broke from his attempt to conquer Iran. This lower form of life, who worshipped Hitler and Stalin, had grandeurs of becoming the new Saladin.
If you believe he was planning to stop at Kuwait, you make Neville Chamberlain look pessimistic. Gillespie was fully grilled before a the Senate, and even the CommieLibs had to concede she was not at fault.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
You put your life at risk for lowlife Arab sheiks in Kuwait & Saudi Arabia. Are you saying these sheiks are morally superior to Saddam? Didn't you fight foe the Koran you detest? Why should any American care who runs the mideast?
radiohogan 3 years ago
I would suggest your average hyena was moraally superior to the Saddam clan. Saddam Hussein was responsible for the deaths of more Muslims in the 2oth century than any other man. We (the West) have unfortunately placed ourselves in the position where we cannot allow a psychotic lunatic to control 50% of the world's oil.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
So, is Saddam more psychotic then American presidents or America's Arab or Israeli allies? Isn't Saddam a commie too.
So, in your Imperial propaganda the US owns Arab oil and the US decides to steal Arab oil. You make the US to be common thieves. In this we agree. Now we are getting somewhere. Do you wish to retract your accusation that you fought to steal Arab oil? Or, are you a proud thief. Imperial theft was learned from your English buddies. They invented the game. Churchill = psychosis.
radiohogan 3 years ago
I like the Israelis. The IDF is awesome, and the Merkva is one hell of a tank. We have never stolen an Arab Oil. We pay market prices for every barrel we export. We merely need to ensure the free flow of oil at market prices for the world economy to prosper. Preventing, by force if necessary, a delusional mass murderer from gaining control of half of this resource is in the strategic interests of the USA.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
We paid one dollar a barrel for 80 years. Are you saying that was not theft? Are you saying America's proposed Oil Law for Iraq is not theft? It's all about distribution and the currency used to pay for the oil. Saddam signed contracts to sell the Iraqi people's oil to the French (Total) and the Russians (Lukoil) and be paid in Euros. Imperial America invaded Iraq for Chevron. The plans were laid out in the cabinet room 7 months before 9/11 according to Treasury secretary Paul O'Neill's book.
radiohogan 3 years ago
That was the market price for many years. The old contracts in iraq were not valid, they were made by a govt that no longer exists. What kind of man would prefer the Iraqis have to live with a Hitler-wannabbe?
You are misquoting O'Neill. Every administration since the Gulf War had an attack plan for Iraq on the table, ready to go. that is what a professional military does, plan for every likely contingency.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
You have not read O'Neill. He was fired for being honest with the bully boy (GB).
You have not read accounts of how well the Iraqi people lived under Saddam written by professional anthropologists. It was the most advanced democratic Arab state in the mideast.
radiohogan 3 years ago
I would agree. Upon assumption of power, Saddam managed to move Iraq forward quite rapidly. His was a relatively secular govt, although dominated by his Tikrit tribe. Education, industrialization and commerce grew rapidly.
However, rapid improvement does not satisfy a megalomaniac. Realizing he needed more money to achieve his Pan-Arab dreams, he decided to take the oil of Western iran. overestimating his islamic "warriors" he went broke fighting another Islamic shithole.
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
Hussein attacked Iran at the behest of his American allies. America used Iraq to try to defeat the mullahs who threw out the American puppet Shah. I know of no oil in westwern Iran.
radiohogan 3 years ago
The majority of iran's oil is in Khuzistan, located right next to Iraq. Iraq was the ally of the Soviet Union. Do you really believe any of this silly pablum you type?
Phana24JeffG 3 years ago

Phana24JeffG 3 years ago
