Dante is still playing. He was just injured and now is also substituting Brazilian libero Serginho "Escadinha" that is also injured, so he is playing now, but not attacking for a while.

Dante plays wide open and those mentioned before play in the position of Opposite (to the setter).

iha82sk8 is right those hits aren't so spectacular and in my highschool years I could hit in the 3m easy and even reach most ceilings after.

But there is a big difference here, those guys are not here to impress their oponents or the girls in the tribunes they are just warming up and I am pretty sure that most of them can make MUCH more spectacular hits if they really wanted to. In fact the most powefull/spectacular hits I ever did were during warm up or training but never in a game.
