@tonyz2011 I could, however, I am working on Backtrack 5 tutorials right now. I will eventually get back to bash scripting and then maybe start ruby scripting.
Great Video...as a feedback, you could have added explanation on the commands in the code instead of just showing the output...a very informative one anyway..
@SRJ86 Thanks for the feedback, yes I agree it would be nice to go into more detail but I've had a lot of viewers complaining lately on how long my videos are and how I have put too much detail into it. I try to fit as much information as possible on my videos for everyone to understand what exactly happens. Thanks again!
@jellisrellish All I could say is to make sure everything is typed correctly and the biggest problem is usually fixed by a mistyped word or leaving out . , ; Just take a good look at it again and let me know how it goes. Also if you are having trouble seeing something and I didn't zoom in enough for you, you can use the full screen mode in Youtube. Good Luck!
@SuperKittyPancake Thanks for the comment! I'm sorry to confuse you I should have talked more in detail. If you haven't please start off by watching part 1. These scripts allow you to execute command more efficiently. You can automate your everyday tasks doing this, instead of typing them in everytime. You can just run your script to do whatever you coded it to do. I might be making another video with some download links to my best scripts that I use. :)
@SuperKittyPancake yep this was a good video and manage to run both scripts after acouple of corrections. But yeah great one... better than doing it out of book.
@3ombieautopilot Thanks for your comment! Actually this was all I was going to make for Linux Shell Scripting. I just wanted to show the basics and what is mostly used.
@3ombieautopilot Thanks man appreciate it! Yeah sometime I'm going to make some good scripts and then make a new video with all my work to share with you guys with download links. :)
