Sick...I told him that if I ever see him hitting his wife I would do to him what he did to her...and I was bigger than him he was a lil shit..

You are so very very correct on this issue. The whole point of that section of that particular article in the Watchtower was to demonstrate a "need" for sisters to be tolerant of violent husbands. The mother of my children was brutally beaten to death in 2004 by her then husband, Timothy Beckingham for doing just that. I cannot even type now without being squashed by the pain. She tolerated him and had all of her ribs broke. Google JoAnne Beckingham, 7 years later the story is still there.
@pianodavy i will look up the story. i am so sorry to hear about this though. not the first and will not be the last. i only told about my two friends in the video, but my youngest brother had a friend whose mother was killed by her husband (he was not a JW), because she stayed with the man, and when i was in my late teens, one of the pioneers in my hall, an elder's wife had a bible study murdered by her husband trying to win him over. this case disturbed me because in the police (con't)
