  • Great video!

It's too bad that, thanks to the state's heightening of society's time preference, we can look forward to decapitalization and, eventually, decivilization if things don't change rapidly.

  • I've always wondered about Praxeology now I have an idea. Thanks.

But I'm just wondering how is this different from microeconomics the math taken out?

  • This is kinda like dialectical materalism made for businessmen. Political pseudoscience.

  • @derKuntz Your argument is not logical valid. First you make an analogy and say P is kinda like DM. Since DM -> PP, you then conclude P -> PP. This is not a valid logical deduction. And it is not true. See Praxeology or Ludwig von Mises on Wikipedia.

  • @joerndinkla Of course you are unable to see the connection, because your libertarian political beliefs shape the way you perceive the whole world. Therefore this discussion is useless - it's like talking to a Marxist or a born again Christian. Faith is stronger than reason.

  • @derKuntz 1) Polylogism is not possible/inconsistent. 2) Do you really think, that there is a causal relationship from my "political beliefs" to my logic? I think it is the other way round.

  • The thing that I wonder about is whether she's doing these because she really *does* love praxeology, or if she's doing them because she's an actress. I much prefer the first possibility.

  • @nelsonrn If it is the second probability then Unless she is ideologically a statist, or professionally mainstream economist(in which case she wouldn't promote Austrian Economics at any cost), she would wind up being a praxeologist even if its her job. I mean imagine if you had nothing to do with Economics and someone hires you to explain what capital in Capitalism is, wouldn't you be totally intrigued and impressed by it?

  • @nelsonrn She named her cat Carl Menger. I think she's for real.

  • This video was immediately gratifying.

  • are you married? looking for a suitor?

  • good talk on economics. Can you do a talk explaining the economics of bitcoin?

  • You fail to take into account that there are other people who can help achieve multiple goals in the same amount of time. Cooperation rather than competition is the method which will allow all people to survive.

  • @Lightrider4444 You have a point, but are missing something. Group size.

If everyone works equally to the same end, then all is good. However, not everyone has equal skills, so some people are better suited for other tasks. Since that is the case, some people should ideally be building shelter, while some are making nets and yet others are fishing. In a small group there is no conflict, everyone shares equally. But in a larger group there must be an accepted means of barter or sale.

  • Dam so beautiful that i forget to listen and go of into fantasy land lol. If it wasnt fr that cut aways id find it hard to concentrate at all. Lucky boyfriend thats all i can say. I wish i had a girlfriend who i could talk economics and deep thought with :(

  • This is honestly the best and easiest to understand explanation of this concept I've seen.

  • why'd she take it down and put it up again?

  • @JusticeSpray we had slipped a faulty image that wasn't creative commons, someone could have been hurt. The state keeps us safe with IP law.

  • I <3 Capital.
