The game may take place after Guts fought Mozgus and is before Guts tried to rape Caska and choking her because of his inner beast and Caska was comfortable with him before that. From the manga version, Guts' Dragon Slayer sword did move slowly. The sword is basically like a large slab of iron and is heavy so of course it'll move slowly. Berserk Retribution arc picks up after the arc titled The Guardian Angel of Desire so that's why the elf is there.

Guts saved her since they had a brief fling before that all went down (based on the anime, though I just started the manga and the story may be quie different), Guts travels with her and tries to help her through her slow recovery if at all..

Berserks anime had 1 of the most fucked up endings. if you seen it you know wat im talkin about. its so messed up tho. i loved the show tho. including the ending, the music was amazing. ha ha BERSERK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@SHAKHIR2 Hehe no worries :) if u can't ever get a game to load and it loads to the CD player then you'll need to download the utopia boot disk. I think its version 1.1. You load that in, then when you see the utopia screen eject the lid, take the boot disk out and switch it for the game. Most rom sites list if theyre self boot or not. But if not the utopia boot disk 1.1 is easy to find. And works perfect, I had to use it the other day on Silver.

@SHAKHIR2 U can also tune ur laser so it works faster i think greese the rails and it works like new if u have problems with older games. But I find it is easier just to download and burn a fresh copy on some nice decent cd-r's else it strains the laser too much. The disks are easy to replace with another copy, but the lasers are different :( as they're GD-Rom (Gigabite-Disks) although if you look on most the games (originals) It barely takes up 1/2 of the disk.

@Jokill32 It's actually canon and the game was written/supervised by Kentaro Miura himself. It's only a side story though, I believe it takes place sometime before Guts meets Farnese and Serpico for the first time. It's good.

@janroehl the last berserk game i remember was the millenium falcon one on ps2, and that was fucking sick. i guess the closest we'll get right now to a new berserk game is demons' souls. if looks closely you'll see a hell of a lot of similarites to weapons and monsters in berserk.

Personally I want a PC International release game featuring current-gen (PS3/360 or Modern PC+) graphics which covers all four current Sagas from Golden Years to the one with the island (I forget what it's called, but Guts is looking for a way to cure Casca's damaged mind caused by being raped by Femto/Griffith). Plus dismemberment/gore would be good too.
