Terrible interview. Deepak seemed annoyed,tired,bored. It seemed Deepak was toying with Alan trying to hypnotize him and at point it seemed to work. Alan was in awe of Deepak and seemed to idolize him which only makes for a self-indulgent interview.

Step back from your adolation and desirous ego and watch what is really happening. Deepak is not a god, he is the messenger. My comment was not whether Deepak is "insanely beautiful" but that Alan was awestruck and tripping all over his words.

the bible sais, "ye are gods"; so yes, deepak is also a god; and so are you; if we are children of god, then how could we not also be gods? -i think people are afraid of thinking of themselves as gods; but hey, it needs to be overcome; by being gods, we are not a "threat" to god, nor does it diminish jesus; this "antichrist" hysteria is really just fear of self discovery;

You guys are missing the whole point. There is an amazing moment of true connection in this interview when Deepak says "its not the road you walk, its the walking". And then there is a beautiful transcendent silence that you never see on television or in an interview.

thank you for getting me to relisten and consider both your comments: 1) Alan's questions are about getting a deeper conection to an audience who might not just "go with the flow" that Deepak is on 2) being "insulted" is more in the perceiver. thecommonpatriot has a capacity to just get in Deepak's flow that others might not be able to although in attempting to bring others along it does distub a connection already made IMHO

Many people attempt to describe a state of consiousness or experience of God, but Deepak seems to explain it in a way for those who don't know it to partially understand. Thank God for Deepak!
