yes i had the phone since it came out brought that day anyway i have a nextel/sprint plan over my business and it works great for me i have no problems i hooked it up to the simply everything plan im able to download and set any ringtones or just about anything i like it

sprints excuse is they are working on the problem but it has always been a problem even before they put it out on the market.

i have alot of problems with mine. it sometimes takes up to 12 hours to get my text messages. calls don't go thru even if it has all the signal bars showing. you can't send group messages. it doesn't show youtube videos even tho the service package plans says you can. you sound like you are talking thru a tunnel to the other person you are talking to. this phone is really over rated. the only good thing it has is how it looks ( looks can be deceiving ).

not sure if anybody's concerned about this but i've discovered that, if you want a leather carrying case for this phone, you have to use the one for the 8830. IT's the only one that currently fits the phone best.

thanks also the blackberry 8300,8310,8320,8330 uses the c-s2 battery and some cellphone acccessories website says the 8350i uses it to but it uses the c-x2 which is the same battery for the 8830.
