@theHardyMonster I went to Honolulu in 09 and didn't really experience that. I got a lot of "Aloha Welcome to Hawaii!" The only rude people I ran into were some mainlanders who were surfers from California and they commonly had burping contests in the lobby and elevator. They would always yell "LIKE TOTALLY RIGHTEOUS DUDE!!!!!!!" at the top of their lungs.
Of course mainlanders did come in while Hawaii was their own nation and take over and exploit them.

I'm a big UGA fan but i want to give big respect to UH fans. They were the most enthusiastic fans i've ever seen during a blowout. It was about 38-3, and Hawaii finally scored a TD and they went ballistic. Some of the classiest, most awesome, loyal fans ever from UH. UGA was obviously the better team, but you guys represented your state well.

Yea, the only way UH would be able to compete is if all the the star football players were humble enough to go there or they could just use what they got. But they do need to go to the Pac-10 bc playing those teams in the WAC isn't going to benefit them. No disrespect to the WAC but they are a mediocre conference and BSU and Hawaii owns that conference. Unless the WAC starts to step it up, BSU and Hawaii should make a move.
Hawaii needs to find a way out of the WAC and into the Pac-10. They'll never be able to recruit the type of players that they need to compete at the BCS level without being in a premier conference where players coming in know that they'll be in the title picture with major media coverage.

So what Hawaii choked, they're still a great team and have come a long way. They haven't been in to many games like the Sugar Bowl so cut them a little slack. So, while this is funny, I choose and chose to show my Dawg class, by just enjoying being a Georgia Dawg!!! (BTW, the game when the beer was thrown...my Dawgs got killed...and again the year after that...I had to graduate before we could start beating those Gators !!! :) ) It's all in good fun, people, so just chill!!! @theHardyMonster I went to Honolulu in 09 and didn't really experience that. I got a lot of "Aloha Welcome to Hawaii!" The only rude people I ran into were some mainlanders who were surfers from California and they commonly had burping contests in the lobby and elevator. They would always yell "LIKE TOTALLY RIGHTEOUS DUDE!!!!!!!" at the top of their lungs.
Of course mainlanders did come in while Hawaii was their own nation and take over and exploit them.

i must also say, uga has very friendly and respectful fans, especially with all the success they've had. i enjoyed drinking and partying with the georgia fans, never felt threatened by them at all. totally the opposite of fresno fans. last time i went to fresno i thought i was gonna get murdered. one of my friends actually got mobbed by a group of fresno fans and ended up with a black eye and a huge gash.

I'm a big UGA fan but i want to give big respect to UH fans. They were the most enthusiastic fans i've ever seen during a blowout. It was about 38-3, and Hawaii finally scored a TD and they went ballistic. Some of the classiest, most awesome, loyal fans ever from UH. UGA was obviously the better team, but you guys represented your state well.

Yea, the only way UH would be able to compete is if all the the star football players were humble enough to go there or they could just use what they got. But they do need to go to the Pac-10 bc playing those teams in the WAC isn't going to benefit them. No disrespect to the WAC but they are a mediocre conference and BSU and Hawaii owns that conference. Unless the WAC starts to step it up, BSU and Hawaii should make a move.

Hawaii needs to find a way out of the WAC and into the Pac-10. They'll never be able to recruit the type of players that they need to compete at the BCS level without being in a premier conference where players coming in know that they'll be in the title picture with major media coverage.

UGA was just too good for UH. much bigger, faster, and overall too athletic. but the people saying UH didn't belong there are judging them by the one game against arguably the best team in the nation. UGA could've been in the NC but got snubbed by the BCS. also the BCS needed UH to lose because if they won a BCS game, people would be saying "UH should be Co-National Champs" so they matched them up in a game they knew they'd lose

the reason hawaii cound't complete with georgia is because hawaii's offensive line could not protect colt brennan. So what Hawaii choked, they're still a great team and have come a long way. They haven't been in to many games like the Sugar Bowl so cut them a little slack. If they use this game as a stepping stone they'll be a team on the rise. UGA has pretty much been in the spotlight and is used to that kind of atmosphere. Hawaii was grateful to be where they were.

Charles Davis (color analyst) was alright, he gave Georgia some credit for being dominant. Brennaman sounded like he was going to cry, though. He did the same thing with Boise State last year. I think Georgia would beat Ohio State, Oklahome, West Virginia (only if WVU had one of their turnover games, otherwise it's 2005 all over again), Kansas, Virginia Tech, and Illinois. USC and LSU are possible wins, but they could also lose them too. It just depends.

Hawaii had a great year nothin 2 be ashamed of what's wrong w/12-1? they were just intiminated and outplayed by a better, more experienced football team props 2 them for making it to the BCS Sugar Bowl though and congrats 2 Georgia for being an amazing football team
