I had this phone for two years now and sure you're all correct: this phone really SUCKS! I had it upgraded the software to V10P_00 which they say it's the most stable firmware version,but after a couple of years of regular use, this phone frequently hangs, reboots, doesn't save text drafts, the red or green touch button malfunctions, bluetooth doesn't work anymore! After a full software reinstallation, phone returns to normal but all important saved text messages are forever gone! Damn it! :(

Well Viewty Smart has a better camera, but the Arena has a built-in 3.5mm jack, so that's a trade-off

BIG difference. At&t Gt950 stripped this phone of 8GB of internal storage, 3.5mm headphone jack, the special lens on the camera, and the front video camera. Those are a few of the biggest changes. Huge ones if you ask me.

I ve had this phone for 6 months now and i love it just more and more. I svore to Nokia before but i never get that piece of shit again. Good phone with many qualities. Youtube works, Facebook works also. Only thing i can set my finger on is that the internet is a little bit slow with the original reader, but just download Opera if thats a problem.

Ive tried Iphone for a while but i like this much better. It looks better, better to hold in your hand, costs the half, 3 times as good camera+++++

@marcieevee it doesnt work for Verizon.. it works with sim card companies.. its unlocked so if you have a sim card just pop it in and start using it. sim card companies in the US are at&t t-mobile suncom rogers fido cellular one..

i've had this phone for 3 mths and i'm really getting pissed.. it turns itself off once in a while, the sound quality's ok.. but u can't play w/ the equalizer, all just presets.. still no youtube.. when using wifi, i can't login to email sites.. it's not very customizable (aside from the screensaver) .. the only good thing about it is the storage. correct me if i'm wrong and point me in the right direction if a firmware upgrade is all i need in order to stop complaining..

The camera is excellent in morning shots, as it captures light quite good, however (even with the presence of a flash) the night shots tend to be rather dark if there is no other light source and the object you are trying to capture is more than 1.5 metres away. Apart from that and the fact that sometimes it can feel "slow" if you are multitasking, I think it is one of the best multipurpose phones on the market today.

Hi dvgeo. What I mean is the actual volume of the hands free of the "Arena" NOT the bluetooth, is to say if you have absolutly no bluetooth and you have the arena in a phone support next to the steering wheel, when a call come in you touch the screen to answer BUT can you then touch haands free on the screen and clearly hear the person talking using the speakers of the Arena. I have a collectors car and don't want to install bluetooth. All th best. Macinabit.

I was referring to a "bluetooth earpiece" remotely connected to the phone. No wires, no installation etc. Back to your question, the volume in loudspeaker mode is 9/10 but your ability to hear clearly would depend on the amount of noise your car makes (especially in high gear).

yes youtube texting is not slow if you write like u write in the pc it will be responsive it just doesnt show the letters u write very fast but so what it is writing right ? browser is kinda the fastest one i've ever seen
