Nearly half of the American People would never vote for him; because, either they never heard of him, or many of his goals seem radical and more ideological than practical. His supporters are mostly in the 30-49 age group, but only the well-informed minority of them. What about the 18-29 age group; and, the 50-90 age group?

Some of those ideas such as energy independence and competitive workers are admirable and should be worked towards but turning to government to legislate solutions isn't an answer. Government's job is to protect the people, not provide for them. If corporations damage the environment or cause suffering, the people will shut them down, with the help of government. I agree. He absolutely is reverting to antiquated ideals that just are not suited for the international relations of the 21st century. The President of the United States should not be a sham of an economist. He should be the ultimate international ambassador for our nation. His supporters are mostly in the 30-49 age group, but only the well-informed minority of them. What about the 18-29 age group; and, the 50-90 age group?

Some of those ideas such as energy independence and competitive workers are admirable and should be worked towards but turning to government to legislate solutions isn't an answer. Government didn't legislate America's leadership in industry, education and living standards, and it isn't going to legislate solutions to the world's problems.

Cutting the military budget doesn't mean our armed force wll disappear. We spend a massive amount on our military already, compared to any other country. And as far as education goes, spending has doubled over the last 36 years, yet the high school graduation rate has actually declined slightly (from 75.9 percent in 1971 to 74.7 percent in 2005). I'm not in favor of completely privatizing education, but more spending is not always the solution.

Air fares have become cheaper, airline safety records have improved, and the number of major air carriers has increased (thus giving consumers more freedom of choice) since the airlines were deregulated. BTW, the Republican Party is not a libertarian organization, and never has been. And what's wrong with having as little taxes as possible?

Yes. Advocating for less government control of our lives is wacko extremism. Our healthcare system was better before the government controlled two-thirds of all healthcare costs. Heavy trucking has become cheaper and more efficient since the trucking industry was deregulated.

Government's job is to protect the people, not provide for them. If corporations damage the environment or cause suffering, the people will shut them down, with the help of government. Private organizations funded directly by the people will be set up in place of government bureaucracy. If they don't do their jobs we can cut them off (unlike the current tax system). The internet is a great organizer which can make this very easy to accomplish. Power to the people, not big government.

Remember this...We are talking about FEDERAL Government controling our lives. Dr. Paul wishes only to return our country to the greatness we all want and were given... but many have been stupified by the main stream media to feel afraid when faced with speaking up. Only sheep follow the agenda driven propaganda contrived by those who have the most to gain and who control "the news". If we all follow like sheep, History shows, we will ALL be slaves.(most of us already are).

hheh guys just picture an earth where the concept of free will and thought are non-existant. they are simply not taught. people will be taught to crush those bad thoughts about rising against the governement in the same way that a teenage catholic boy does. please, everyone. i will never have children. im too scared for their future (which is really, when you think about it, a VERY poor existance)
