  • Parent Trap flashed back in my head. :)

  • Perfect.

  • Nice....from a young old head :-)

  • is this the first song in the movie "the parents trap" ?

  • @amituli6 Nope. It's the song when Annie and Lissy are going back to London in the end.

  • Top Line..

  • lovely!

  • Beautiful...

  • wow!

where is that kind of love?...

    greate song!

    greetings from greece!

    thnx for posting!

  • Wow, I almost can say that this version is the best I have heard!! Thanks for posting it!

  • There is that kind of love. The love that kills you when you're apart, the love that makes you phone when you're not together, the love that will turn away everyone but the person you share it with. It's harder to find since we have more people around, but it's still there, and it's still found once in awhile.

John and Yoko are the only ones I know of, though. Strong enough to break up the Beatles, it was. You just need to look.

  • @AnaLoves2Sing lmfao thats why i came here :)

Fazem muita falta !!! Salve Ray e Betty !!!

  • First 2 mins gives be unbelievable chills. :(

This in The Parent Trap with the rain and everything ALWAYS makes me cry...and oh god when Michael Keaton sings this in Jack Frost. GAH. :'( Heartbreaking.

Will always remember you Natasha Richardson, simply gorgeous, inside and out.

  • What a voice. Legend

  • Yeah Parent trap comes to mind...bt its such a beautiful song......like i've memorized it and everything

  • THIS WAS A TREMENDOUS ALBUM. MY WIFE AND I FELL IN LOVE LISTENING TO THIS ALBUM. TOGETHER SINCE NOV, 1962

  • @myriamwu wow god bless you:)

  • I sing this in person to anyone I fear I might never see again.

There's usually tears involved. It's a very unattractive business.

  • beautiful.

  • Maravilloso!

  • This is Ray Charles? I had no idea. I just fell in love with Ray even more! I remember this song from The Parent Trap.

  • thumbs up if you've been replaying this forever

  • this song means more to me now that im older. oh heartbreak </3

  • Someone dislikes this..............obviously deaf :)

  • @petegrab1 You are so right how can anyone dislike this song it just brings about so many emotions.

  • @petegrab1 I loved Ray even when I was deaf. That's no excuse! Ray is heart and soul wrapped up in music!

  • when he says '..I die a little' I definitely die a little.

  • ray sings this song with so much...idk its emotion...he takes his time with it

  • my god betty carter is terrible

  • Sung with so much emotion, this is definitely a master piece, sung by a true master of song !

  • So romantic.

  • God I remember this song and this year so vividly. Still have the record, but whatever happened to Margaret Clarke. Are you out there Midge? That was a meteoric love we had. Brilliant, then gone.

  • every time i wonder why a little

  • Two geniuses. Two talents that just knock yer socks off!!

  • Is there anything better than Ray Charles? (:

  • Betty Carter was so ahead of her time. Kudos to Ray for choosing her!

  • hmm i donno if its just me but i would have prefered it if only Ray Charles was singing this.. theres something very calming about the way he sings this..

  • @nishi7cool I agree

  • incredible..

  • L o v e!!

  • I did not know Ray Charles sing this song,I thought it was a white man singing it .... R.I.P Ray Charles

  • everytime i hear this song i cry a little

  • @robbieoros ahhhh...it's NOT the original. Originally written in 1944 by Cole Porter and recorded several times by different artists prior to Ray and Betty recording it in 1961. But, it's without a doubt the definitive version. Wish we could get it on Youtube.

  • @dwellguy

Indeed. And was written in the 1940's or something? So long before Ray Charles did a cover. Beautiful nontheless!

  • I remember this song from the Parent Trap with Lindsey. It's so beautiful and just... amazing.

  • I have been watching The Parent Trap forever since it came out in '98, but the musically challenged person that I am, never knew this song was a Ray Charles song until today, 12 years after the movie came out. Congrats to me!! haha!!! :)

  • R.I.P. Ray Charles too. :'(

  • I love this song. I just spent the past few hours listening to it over and over whilst crying 'cause I'd had such a bad day at school today. :'( And it makes me feel sad 'cause of the scene in The Parent Trap and to know that Natasha Richardson who plays the mom has died. :( Aw she was so beautiful. Bless her. I didn't even really know her except from that movie but I love her anyway, she was a fantastic actress. xx

  • Wonderful memories are brought back with this song. College days and first love.

  • @rjmasotta Aww, wow. That's really sweet... :)

  • Wonderful. Ray and Betty--what's better than this?

  • Jack Frost love love loveeeeeeee
