There are so many new cubes since this was made. I would recommend, if you haven't tried them, the three BEST cubes in the world right now: Alpha V (type A5), Type F2, and the DaYan Gu Hong. Use one of these and you'll never need another cube.
@Musicislife1512 - All DIY cubes come with stickers, cores, screws, springs, etc. They wouldn't send you a cube you couldn't use. Get an F2, A5, or a Gu Hong. This video is outdated, and the cubes I mentioned, are the hottest in the world right now. VERY GOOD CUBES.

But I definetly don´t agree that Diansheng cubes are the best, the are terrible, a´s are oke but not terrible. Typ D is good and B is terrible, didn´t check typ c already, but I´m going to make a review soon :D All in all great review :D

people need to have experience with diangsheng before they dismiss them. some are awful, and you can make them into ok cubes. but sometimes you get a fluke diangsheng cube that is truly brilliant, although could be better corner cutters.
wow. You serious. First off the type A is one of the most love types out there. The c is good i agree but the E locks up lick a bitch and is a shitty cube only good for mods. I would say get a edison cube type a or c or even the jsk clone.

I don't agree what you said of the A type. Maybe you only have a black type A, mine is white, and i think is incredible y do averages of 20" with it... the colour makes the cube so diferent even when they are the same type...
I think the quality of the Type-E has dropped. Mine hitches on nearly every twist (Ineed to try sanding it and re-lubing).
On top of that, I've found that if I'm not in a REALLY well-lit area, it's almost impossible to distinguish between the red and orange tiles, the dyes are way too close in tint for easy recognition in a speed solve.
My Type-F rules, despite the 2 times it's popped on me (tightened all the way down). It's MUCH faster than my Type-E.
By the way, thanks for the awesome review, it definitely helped me decide which cubes to order, and although it might not seem like it from my last comment, I'm definitely happy with both... I just didn't have enough space to say so. :p
men there are like 4 types of diy type As, and i've heard that they've changed the cores on some cubes, and now some of them that were bad are not that bad, n' others that were good cubes( type C) are now crap...so, do you think should buy type D's C's or A's?

Type E is one of the best cubes, it can cut corners depending on how you adjust the tension. Ive been using it for about 5 months and it never pops out even once. it reacts on any lubrication (except for petrolium jelly and W40).
TIP: you can also use a hair cuticle as a lubrication, just put 3-4 drops at the center and solve it for 2-3times, its really a good lube.
what i heard is that type f sucks, and that type e cant cut corners good. AZNd out of experence, type a is really dast, but opos really easily if youre not careful.
You should put your Type F cubies into your Type E core with centers/screws/springs. This hybrid is very good, Harris Chan uses it: watch?v=mCCVfk0S8DA

ok thanks a lot man, also, i have just a normal rubiks cube.. not very lubed, and i havnt been cubing for that long. but my best time is only 1 min 40 secs. so if i get a better cube will that help a lot? cause my cube does not cut even the smallest corners and its its really slow...
well i only have rubik brand myself but i have heard lots about diangsheng cubes but getting a new cube will help your speed but lubing old one with silicone also helps but i suggest you dont by a diy kit or diangshang until your time has gone sub minuete at least once. my average is about 50-1:10 so thats why im in the look out for a diy kit
well more of the reason is i only know finger tricks for certain solves, like the last 4 corners, that thing everyone does, i can do that hella fast, about as fast as you can get, i think i just need to learn more finger tricks for the other moves.
Guys! I couldn't have agreed more....the cube that i carry around most is my faded-painted-Dian Sheng cube i got off the rack off some stationery shop!!! It beats all my type As, Cs, Ds DIYs...whatever other shit cubes out there (with due respect to other cubers).
type a is the smoothest of all of them, tighten a little but dont pop much at all and still stays smoothe. bet yours was defective? but in other videos you can see the type a cut the corners when its at the angle you need to pop out the edge piece....... and ive been looking at it a lot because its coming soon and i want to see how good it is ahead of time. but other than that good vid and once i do get it i will let you know how it works. if youre right its bad then you get 5 star if not 1 star
My type A is kind of weird. It never popped, and it's not very bad at turning either... I'm not sure why that is, but I think I'll stick with that unless it gets messed up or breaks... btw, the one i use for my video is a type A

here in the philippines, this cube are widely used by filipino cubers and it really really is very cheap,, you can buy this one at 50-60 pesos or 1.40$ only... the quality is very good, it cuts corners and compatible w/ silicone spray. the only problem w/ it is the stickers... the sucks easily..
yeah the stickers are terrible after a few days of solves they were toast and they are hard to get off too... i would recomend when you get a type E to place replacement stickers on top of the existing stickers

Serious? In many forums many agree that Old Type A is one of the best, and is being quickly replaced by Type D. I have to agree that Type E, is awesome, but I still think that Old Type A is better in some ways. In forums, Type E isn't even noticed much.

Are you still using a layer method? That's probably the most common "new" "problem" then, as the standard "7-step" method is useless speedwise.

the only diffrence is 4.99 one is in original package both are assembled and come with stickers most people get 3.99 ones but if your a collector get the boxed one

ok thanks a lot man, also, i have just a normal rubiks cube.. not very lubed, and i havnt been cubing for that long. but my best time is only 1 min 40 secs. so if i get a better cube will that help a lot? cause my cube does not cut even the smallest corners and its its really slow...

well i only have rubik brand myself but i have heard lots about diangsheng cubes but getting a new cube will help your speed but lubing old one with silicone also helps but i suggest you dont by a diy kit or diangshang until your time has gone sub minuete at least once. my average is about 50-1:10 so thats why im in the look out for a diy kit

well more of the reason is i only know finger tricks for certain solves, like the last 4 corners, that thing everyone does, i can do that hella fast, about as fast as you can get, i think i just need to learn more finger tricks for the other moves.

Guys! I couldn't have agreed more....the cube that i carry around most is my faded-painted-Dian Sheng cube i got off the rack off some stationery shop!!! It beats all my type As, Cs, Ds DIYs...whatever other shit cubes out there (with due respect to other cubers).

type a is the smoothest of all of them, tighten a little but dont pop much at all and still stays smoothe. bet yours was defective? but in other videos you can see the type a cut the corners when its at the angle you need to pop out the edge piece....... and ive been looking at it a lot because its coming soon and i want to see how good it is ahead of time. but other than that good vid and once i do get it i will let you know how it works. if youre right its bad then you get 5 star if not 1 star

My type A is kind of weird. It never popped, and it's not very bad at turning either... I'm not sure why that is, but I think I'll stick with that unless it gets messed up or breaks... btw, the one i use for my video is a type A

here in the philippines, this cube are widely used by filipino cubers and it really really is very cheap,, you can buy this one at 50-60 pesos or 1.40$ only... the quality is very good, it cuts corners and compatible w/ silicone spray. the only problem w/ it is the stickers... the sucks easily..

yeah the stickers are terrible after a few days of solves they were toast and they are hard to get off too... i would recomend when you get a type E to place replacement stickers on top of the existing stickers

i agree that diansheng (type e) cubes are the best. I have had muine for about 2 months and it is still very crisp! Just like an American JOY Cube would be!! It rocks

Serious? In many forums many agree that Old Type A is one of the best, and is being quickly replaced by Type D. I have to agree that Type E, is awesome, but I still think that Old Type A is better in some ways. In forums, Type E isn't even noticed much.

i don't think that any cube is better than another try getting a new type a diy ,another rubik's brand cube , and get the best type dian shing an d lube them aslo set the perfect tension on the dianshing sand the rubik's brand cube a see about which is better then make a video on the results maybe just maybe you might change your mind on which cube is better if you use vasline do not i repeat do not put vasline on the core because i heard it will mess up your core big time this is just a request

The Dian Sheng is just $1 here and comes with different colors. It react very good with silicone. We only use it for OH solve.
