Yes, the father has problems with judgement but prior to him being with Misty he lived with his mother and the court made the correct choice. They do not get to put the kids in a foster home. DFS investigated Ron Cummings and found "no factual" evidence of abuse.

Susan Smith strapped Michael and Alex in car seats, drove to John D Long Lake and watched her car sink in the lake with her beautiful sons in the car. Susan Smith strapped Michael and Alex in car seats, drove to John D Long Lake and watched her car sink in the lake with her beautiful sons in the car. shit like this is why more police officers will eventually be laid -off our or taxes will be raised because they use our tax payer money to send these deputies who should be trying to find real criminals off the street worrying about this case because the mom and dad won't come clean what they did with the girl, so when there's less officers on the streets and a cop can't get to you in time this is the reason why.

To all who are judgeing these people. They are young people The dad Ron is only 24 . Give them a brack . He was out working to pay the bills. Not everyone in USA has the money to get a college education. Life Is hard on people. Dont judge him. There are alot of poor souls in america . Working Class poor. Some grow up poor . My3Lovss. I agree ,some comments sound like people think they're better than Haleighs dad because they have more money. He was out working a 12 hour shift to support his kids & I don't hold it against him for saying he wanted to kill whoever took her. & I thought he showed some class when asked why he got custody & not the bio-mom. he did not take the easy offered chance to run their mom down & tell about her drug problem, he just said they had found he was better able to provide a home.

I'm sorry but this "mother" doesnt seem like a mom who just found out their child is missing. Those aren't even real tears...people dont sniffle unless they are balling...& she goes from "crying" to answering questions in a normal tone.
